Really good cover and it is on par with the original, sometimes. Not a particular fan of the last verse but it's more in the Bear Ghost style so I understand why they decided that.
The cover sounds neat, but I just cannot with the repetitive chorus. It's likely the same as the original but I just can't with the annoyingly catchy "Little little microhcips".
I have not heard the original "Paranoid Android", so my review is not comparative. I think this sounds fine. I like a few parts but, especially towards the end, it kind of feels off? The sudden end is a part of why it feels a little weird but overall I like the guitar most of the time and the eerie sound effects in the background during the first verse(s) is atmospheric.
Derailed from the "Bear Ghost sound" which makes sense as it is a collab with Playboy Manbaby.
That said, this single goes kinda hard and is pretty funny. A little basic sometimes, I guess, but I still really like it.
I adore the second half of this album. Not to say the first four songs are bad or even lesser good.
The melodies and lyrics of Ring 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 just interest me so much more than Ring 8, 7 and 6.
