lil ugly mane went from the deranged, manic, noisy oblivion access to this. ok.
i think this was going for watching a nostalgic kids show whilst crying your heart out. yeah it does that. the songs sound like cartoon theme songs but written by a depressed guy. the entire album feels so bittersweet, making you just think about days gone by. songs like headboard, vpn and porcelain slightly just force tears into my eyes. idk man im sad after listening to this leave me alone :(

Surprisingly good, mixing needs some work in general as i feel like this kind of sound would benefit heavily from some clarity in that aspect because of its hereditary fuzzy aspects. Otherwise the concept definitely works and the execution has a lot of passion behind it and stays faithful to its influences. Overall, good listen and the potential here is great. i love love love this sound that they went for. it feels like im getting my mind melted by a beam of rainbows. whatever that feels like, and a warm hug. however, what it suffers from is its length. i usually like shorter albums, but the annoying amount of epic amazing songs that were unrealised by their length (the monkey on your back etc.). it infuriates me that some of the best things i have heard just cuts off after 1-2 minutes.
