It has its moments, but for an experimental project it feels unfortunately limited in its ideas. I still fw you tho mr skeletrix
I am not an articulate enough man to express in words how much this record means to me.
A raw and indescribable meditation on love itself. Strange, alien, majestic, human. The sound choices are nonsensical and amongst the folds of that nonsense it nurtures the purest distillation of euphoria possible in music. At the height of her powers, Bjork is orchestrating universes. My absolute favourite.
Likely my favourite metal album, of any styling, of all time. What has always struck me about it is how gentle it can feel when it wants to. There is a rugged balance between heaviness and weightlessness held in fragile bondage at Feedbacker's core; it's heaviest moments still soar rather than pummel, hum more than howl. A soundtrack to falling slow-mo into the Sun. Type shit.
Say Twin is fucking dogshit man
I didn't hate the rest but it's not exactly memorable. By-the-numbers trap with middling beats and little energy, not even drugged-out vibey sleepy like Future, Lil Baby just didn't really try. Best part of the album is the features because they at least give this thing some variety.
"Stiff Gang" is a funny name for a song tho
