DAY 6 - Black Celebration
Wow, I did not expect to like the albums this much. Black Celebration by Depeche Mode is the first thing i listened to by them that is not called ‘enjoy the silence’ and i gotta say it does do things a lot differently but also the same as their later smash hit. For one both are catchy as hell they are called synth-pop for nothing. Black celebration got me singing throughout about dark and depressing shit. And speaking of singing i ... read more

DAY 5 - Juju
Happy 10/10, for today i am reviewing Siouxsie and the Banshees most critically beloved album Juju. This album being a post-punk and gothic rock classic and my thoughts on it is that its good :). I mean certainly we got classic songs like the opener ‘Spellbound’ opening the album with the jangly and dark album with the galloping drums. Another classic song here is ‘Arabian Knights’ and for a song with such a cool name for a song ... read more

DAY 4 - THE GHOST~POP TAPE

Cocteau Twins’ third album and perhaps the most well-known and critically acclaimed album from their more darker 80s era rather than their more colourful sound later in the 90s with their album ‘Heaven or Las Vegas’. I gotta say i was debating whether to review this or their second album ‘Head Over Heals’ for the Halloween thing and I ... read more

Day 2 - The Chameleons Script of the Bridge
The chameleons debut studio album ‘Script of the Bridge’ is now the second debut album in a row I've reviewed for this thing i'm doing, and this one is also good. With this one I do get into it with a mindset of it having that classic post punk sound and I was definitely not dissapoint. A lot of the tracks in this album have that classic post punk bass sound and low sounding guitar. Its opening track, ... read more
