My first release (black metal / Neoclassical darkwave). I'll leave it here without score so you can listen to it!

LCD Soundsystem - Sound of Silver

Nobody sounds quite like LCD Soundsystem. Their unique blend of post-punk, new wave and electronica is nothing short of miraculous with irresistible rhythms, catchy riffs and bass and lots of musical ideas.

There are very few negatives on here, personally I find "New York, I Love You but You're Bringing Me Down" a bit out of place on here, being basically pure post-punk, though it's emotionally powerful with that punk inspired guitar explosion at the end

Turnabout - OBSCURA NOCTIS MORS

Well, there are surely good ideas on here.
The problem is this project is way too short.
It wouldn't as much as a problem wasn't for the fact this EP is clearly trying to create an atmosphere and its length is not nearly sufficient to set the vibe

And it's a shame because "Leave Your Things Behind" has a cool dark vibe with that weird sample thoughout

Children of Bodom - Follow the Reaper

Easygoing melodeath with a cool use of synths that complement well the melodic guitar work creating a general feeling of epicness.

There is not a particularly interesting structure within the record, so I was quite confused when it ended quite abruptly. However almost every song on here is interesting and pleasing to the ears, apart probably for "Northern Comfort" and "Mask of Sanity" which I found a bit redundant

Vangelis - 1492: Conquest of Paradise

Immersive, majestic and dark this is truly one of the best soundtracks of all time

The synths and choruses mix in an enchanting way making for a true recreation of the medieval times and its epic history

Loreena McKennitt - The Mask and Mirror

I’m a sucker for Irish folk music so I’m clearly biased but this project is solid.

It has a transporting mood to it and each song has its unique personality (energy, melancholy, longing etc…)

I was also flattered by the symphonic instrumentation that elevates the quality of the tracks and the beautiful vocal performance

Hey Slandro, Listened to Pilgrims and gave your album a review. I think you are tapping into to some cool dark creepy sounds that fuse digital ambient noise with some elements of black metal, but I would like to see more in that realm of the black metal. Not just disjointed screams, but maybe sampling things that take me to that space more and creating a digital tapestry of darkness.

Just listened to it and wow, I promise I'm not just trying to flatter you, but that was fucking great.

I especially loved Radura / Fossil, very engaging and eerie, i also loved the instrumentation. The production is good, the idea's are there and was really engaging. It keepet me engaged and left me wanting more.

My only criticism is that honestly I thought Processione was honestly kind of boring. And tge project felt a little bit disjointed, all of the tracks had a very unique concept and individually between them, which is really good, but frankly they don't necessarily compliment each other. Which isn't that big of a deal seeing how the tracks are all solid. But if I'm going to give you any criticism, is that you should maybe focus on having a better flow between the tracks in the future, and try to make a little more of a overall cohesive experience.

But over all I really liked it. And definitely let me know when you add it, I think I'll give it a 90.

Yeah for some reason it didn't show up in my notifications, but it did in my recommendations tag. You recommended A Symphony for a genocide, definitely an intriguing title.

Yo dude, I just saw your recommendation, I didn't see it, sorry lol but I'll definitely listen to it.
