To prepare for the new strokes album dropping soon, I’d thought I go through their whole discography, starting with their iconic debut “Is This It”. Besides this album and “The New Abnormal” I really haven’t listened to much of their stuff so I’m excited for this.

It’s cool to see where Mollys Lips and Jesus Don’t Want me for a Sunbeam came from, especially only knowing the Nirvana covers for a while. It’s a short EP. Other two songs were fun and cool and I could definitely see why Kurt was really into them. It really reflects on his songwriting in the future.
Checked this one out purely cause of the cover art. I thought it was so weird and uncomfortable but really cool. Anyways I enjoyed it for the most part.
It’s a pretty standard indie rock/pop rock record with some standout tracks. I liked the lyricism a lot.
