HIs inspirations have gone past being on his sleeve, he's begun to rip the sleeve off and tattoo "I love Kendrick Lamar!" on his arm. It's kind of solid just too inspired, also the Tupac sample about him being shot dead felt like it was used in poor taste.
The second half just sounds boring to me, the lyrical meaning of the album is great but it's a bit hard to be invested when I'm left with a pretty sonically bland palette to get that depth from.
It sounds good and it's pretty cool but he wanna be Tyler SOOOO bad it's crazy. He got the potential to develop his own sound and there's some decisions that are unique to him here so it's alright but MAN, he literally shouts him out on the last track. The remixes are neat but I did not bother listening to the instrumentals of the songs, kind of a pointless addition honestly.

Don't get me wrong, I like the energy this album has with the beats and such but it feels like Griselda could do so much better. The bars for the most part are pretty surface level, the beats while nice are usually just the same short loop over and over, and those beats even tend to blend into each other in such a way that it feels like they're too similar. I admittedly have a weak spot for this type of music so I did like it but I just wish Griselda would slow down on releases and ... read more
