It's pretty corny but I like it aside from the whole song about Asian girls, kind of a weird choice. The production feels kind of weird at points, I think people would like this project a lot more if it had better production than what we were given.
It's good but a lot of the songs feel Don is featuring on them when he's supposed to be the main artist.
The final regards of a man who knew his death was eminent. It's amazing how much is able to be communicated just through a beat tape. Through just samples and beats alone J Dilla is able to talk about how he feels about his approaching passing, along with spreading good messages as well. This is the perfect beat tape, 100/100.
Jay Eazy finally drops an EP and it's exactly what I expected. Genuinely such a down to earth guy though.
In Gambino's final album he throws many different sounds at the wall to see what sticks, and most of it does. I enjoyed most of the tracks but some felt a little empty and unneeded.
I enjoy the production I just think some of the people did poorly on the beat, especially on Paper Plates.
Remixes a lot of the original versions tracks and adds two great tracks.
After listening to this album a second time I realized that the prior 75 was a bit low. This album really does feel like it's fueled through pure emotion, it feels as if the album itself grieves and goes through the 5 stages.
