Vince Staples - Vince Staples
80

Vince Staples is one of the best of the current era of rap.

Childish Gambino - Camp
60

It's pretty corny but I like it aside from the whole song about Asian girls, kind of a weird choice. The production feels kind of weird at points, I think people would like this project a lot more if it had better production than what we were given.

JPEGMAFIA - EP2!
70

It's good.

JPEGMAFIA - EP!

Great short album.

Summrs - B4DARAVEN
50

I mean it's music.

Don Toliver - HARDSTONE PSYCHO (DELUXE)
70

Some of the better songs on the album for sure.

Don Toliver - HARDSTONE PSYCHO
70

It's good but a lot of the songs feel Don is featuring on them when he's supposed to be the main artist.

$uicideboy$ - New World Depression
80

This album was better than I expected.

Lil Uzi Vert - Luv Is Rage
70

Ranking this based off the 12 tracks on Spotify. Very fun mixtape.

Grown off me a bit.

Lupe Fiasco - Samurai
90

Crazy concept for an album.

J Dilla - Donuts
100

The final regards of a man who knew his death was eminent. It's amazing how much is able to be communicated just through a beat tape. Through just samples and beats alone J Dilla is able to talk about how he feels about his approaching passing, along with spreading good messages as well. This is the perfect beat tape, 100/100.

Jay Eazy - Eazy Peazy
60

Jay Eazy finally drops an EP and it's exactly what I expected. Genuinely such a down to earth guy though.

Childish Gambino - Bando Stone and The New World
70

In Gambino's final album he throws many different sounds at the wall to see what sticks, and most of it does. I enjoyed most of the tracks but some felt a little empty and unneeded.

Nigo - I Know NIGO!
60

I enjoy the production I just think some of the people did poorly on the beat, especially on Paper Plates.

Denzel Curry - Melt My Eyez See Your Future (The Extended Edition)
80

Remixes a lot of the original versions tracks and adds two great tracks.

Denzel Curry & Kenny Beats - UNLOCKED
70

For what it is it's great.

Denzel Curry - ZUU
70

It's good.

Denzel Curry - TA13OO
70

After listening to this album a second time I realized that the prior 75 was a bit low. This album really does feel like it's fueled through pure emotion, it feels as if the album itself grieves and goes through the 5 stages. I've heard that Denzel broke down in the studio making this album and I understand why, at first I found some of the more bold lyrics to be corny and weird however I now realize that it's more-so Denzel putting all of his anger he feels towards the injustice ... read more
