I think this is what porn would sound like if it was a genre. Don't know if I like it or not.
Except for some standout tracks, I feel the album plays it too safe, and sadly it comes at the cost of it being as memorable as it could be.
Even with its untamed chaos, this is still a magnificent album, having Aphex Twin's highest highs.
For having one of the single creepiest album covers of his discography, this is one of his most beautiful and nostalgic albums. Yes, even with the goofy as fuck tracks.
It's certainly more ambient than the first SAW (PLEASE DON'T LISTEN TO THIS IN ONE SITTING!!).
This feels like magic, 30+ years later. Even though this is not for everyone, this is still a magnificent piece of art.
It always seemed like Eminem was edgy for the sake of being edgy, even here in his prime, and that always rubbed me the wrong way. His performance is still impressive.
A very honest album with downright relaxing beats at times, even if Denzel's performance isn't at its best here.
An overproduced fnf album with cheesy and cringe af lyrics that interpolates (ruins) MJ songs and runs for 40 minutes too long? Yeah...
As a born and raised Puerto Rican, this is a vibe, honestly speaking. If only it didn't have so many filler songs.
Love the messaging, love the performances, don't love the music. Inventive and impactful at its best, which is most of the album, but its downright generic at worst.
The last thing a Nirvana album should be is BORING!! Fell asleep halfway through this album.
A more complete version of 77. This is where it really begins
WhileI I have a soft spot for this album, I can't deny its definitely a mixed bag. Half of it is good, the other is J Cole trying really hard to act tough, and comes off as cringe.
I'm really glad this is a TPAB b-sides. If some of these songs ended up on TPAB, it would have taken points away from that album instead of this one.
Words cannot describe the emotions that are brought out of me listening to this soundtrack. This is THE soundtrack that defines Sonic.
