Chance the Rapper - STAR LINE
80

I KNEW he was back when Chance was releasing those singles like "Stars Out" and "The highs and the lows" which is on this album I KNEW that he wasn't washed, and I am so genuinely happy that he is back to being someone the greater community can root for.

JID - God Does Like Ugly
85

It’s jid what did you expect other than something incredible

Paul McCartney - McCartney II

Yeat - DANGEROUS SUMMER
95

Yeat is an artist that years ago I would talk to my friends about not being able to "get into" and now years later I truly have gone on a journey of understanding...he's generational.

Growing Pains is one of his best songs ever

Edit: 87---->95 I underrated this EP somehow when I first reviewed it this EP is incredible and has multiple of Yeat's best songs ever released, he feels like he has grown SO much since the UP 2 ME days and it's genuinely insane to see how ... read more

Quadeca - Vanisher, Horizon Scraper
95

I’m probably gonna end up giving this a 10/10 when I delve deeper into the concept and everything. This album is phenomenal and it confuses me with how beautiful the album can be while keeping so many musical plates spinning.

Freddie Gibbs - Alfredo 2
95

It’s so perfect it’s insane the rapping and production don’t just work they combine to create a soundscape that feels safe and dusty and extravagant without feeling like it’s trying too hard. The album just sounds cool.

Also the JID feature is incredible

Tyler, The Creator - DON'T TAP THE GLASS
75

Short and Sweet no Sabrina Carpenter.

Probably gets 200% better when played outside

Jack Harlow - Jackman.
70

It’s not groundbreaking but it truly is a sign that Jack Harlow at least SOMEWHERE inside himself still has the hunger he had when he was grinding out albums before he blew up.

Logic - Under Pressure
85

A debut that genuinely is incredible. Logic's lyricism, passion, and ear for beats, are all on full display and this album was the main reason that I still had hope for a genuinely incredible album from Logic even during the stint where he was releasing music that was universally recognized as pretty bad

Yeat - The Bell
90

I RING THAT BELL WHEN I WANNA GET SUCKED !!

Playboi Carti - MUSIC
75

It’s carti for better and for worse, there is insane highs and mundane lows but the high points are highest of the YEAR.

LIKE WEEZY might be Song of the Year

Lil Tecca - Dark Thoughts
100

This and “LIKE WEEZY” are fist fighting in my head and heart for song of the year

Pusha T - It's Almost Dry
90

This that real rap shit. Dreamin of the Past has some of the best rapping ever by pusha with some of the best production by Kanye

Ayesha Erotica - Vacation Bible School
75

Let’s not get carried away here

mgk - mainstream sellout
70

Man fuck it I realized I never put my rating/review down for this album and I need to keep the same energy as I did for Tickets. Mgk’s emo music…what is there to say that hasn’t been said before. Gallons of ink have been spilled berating it that I won’t mention it and just say I LIKE IT. I don’t LOVE it but I LIKE IT I said it I feel like I’m going insane.

Hot Mulligan - Pilot
90

I think this is the bands best album if you’re the type of person who thinks “Take this to your grave” is the best Fall out boy album (Riley from HIVEMIND) for everyone else I think this is still an incredibly great and important listen you really hear them come into the full sound they would grow with. These motherfuckers don’t MISS.

JAY-Z - The Blueprint
95

This album shifted Rap from a genre to THE genre.

PARTYNEXTDOOR - $ome $exy $ongs 4 U
30

It’s just so BORINGGGGGGGG

JAY-Z - The Black Album
90

It's said its Jay-Z's 3rd and final classic and while I think the album that came out 14 years later ups that classic number to 4, this album would have served as an amazing potential end to one of the greatest rappers of all time's career. The songs on this album feel impassioned and Jay-Z's flow notably is somehow improved from The Blueprint. I also feel like the production isn't necessarily *better* than Blueprint or Reasonable Doubt but it does feel more varied, ... read more
