The narrative. the STORYTELLING. middle school me was right to be listening to this on repeat. Revisiting this album and Tally Hall songs made me realize the sound similarities and cross referencing. revisiting this album felt like going back to a childhood home #miss
I have no FIELDS and i must FROLICK.
I first came across this album in 2021 when I stumbled upon The Divine Chord and immediately altered my way of viewing music. More recently I overhead Running Red Lights in a shows I was watching which led me to listen to more songs from this album. It's genuinely so whimsical and brings warmth to my heart.
Personally my favourite Sweet Trip album, very divers soudscape with lots of interesting experimental songs mixed with beautiful vocals. Love the concept
