I've been trying to "get" Ants From Up There for months by now. Despite the fact that this album contains everything that would normally make me love it, it never really clicked with me. This is genuinely the single most dazzlingly produced album I've ever heard. I GENUINELY can't comprehend how this was composed. Not only that, the concept of this album is extremely intriguing and hilarious, and Greep's voice is so beautiful and powerful it fits right in with the crazy jazz production.
The fact that THAT voice is attached to a skinny white guy is crazy. Should I check out black midi now?
