idk why but this shit is more so like a 1.5 album than a second album since its just mainly fake live versions of the songs of their debut along with random covers thrown in as well but even then its still a somewhat interesting listen regardless and the rerecording of coping with the natural beauty on here is great so idc. everything else is kinda forgettable tho but the story about it is still pretty interesting tbh

out of all of the more mainstream new wave bands, tears for fears is one of the more consistent of the bunch and also having a great debut album. the production is great, the lyrics are also great and watch me bleed and pale shelter are really great icl. it does dip slightly in quality in the second half but even then its still a great album especially compared to other debut albums tbh
