I did not understand a single word. It was amazing.
This album just fires up in all cylinders and delivers a chaotic, aggressive masterpiece that I'm surprised doesn't get enough love.
The first time I listened to this I loved it, but I did notice how the production holds it back a little, and while it still does, mostly in the vocals, it still is a 10/10, the vocals are fantastic, they just sound a little rough due to production. I would kill to listen to this album with the way ... read more
The guitar works pretty well, but it's still very rough around the edges,
Insanely underrated.
I'm surprised to see a band doing this sound so early and so well at the same time, and not having a lot of people talking about it.
This album never gives you any time to breathe, it's so energetic and fast.
I had only listened to F.C.P.R.E.M.I.X before, so I wasn't expecting it to be on the heavier side.
This is probably my favorite style of screaming vocals, so much emotion.
Manages to be raw and emotionally packed, without being obnoxious.
All of this complemented with great melodic instrumentals.
It's interesting to see Underoath's heavier side, I'd say this is straight up a metal album, aside from the opening track, there aren't any clean vocals.
I'd say the vocals are fine, but Spencer Chamberlain is definitely what changed the game for underoath, his energy is something that really made the next few albums so iconic, and it's missing from this one.
I don't usually like to say this, but every song sounds mostly the same.
I love this style of music, so it annoys me that I know this can be better and it isn't.
The most 6/10 to ever 6/10
The drums are really good, I just wish it was little more explosive like some of the other songs.
Idk this was really boring, it's usually my style but this didn't do it for me.
I already forgot everything about this album.
Who knew British hardcore could go so hard.
Racecar is indeed racecar backwards.
The vocals just don't do it for me. Personally It got very repetitive and tedious, it's not even that long but it feels like it, and by the end I was just waiting for it to be over.
I'm very disappointed, since I usually enjoy this style of music.
I don't love this style of metalcore, and this whole era in general, the guitars are fine, but the clean choruses and vocals are just not for me.
The lows sound like the videos of that guy who says root beer in a funny way.
The first 2 tracks are really good, walls in particular is amazing, but after that it just becomes a bit monotonous and boring.
Not bad, just a little disappointing.
What an experience. Such a different and unique sound.
Coming after Calculating Infinity, which still is one of the best Mathcore albums ever, you wouldn't really think they'd make this bold of a move. While it still has plenty of songs reminiscent of their previous stuff, the clean vocals and overall refined new sound is just wonderful and unlike anything I've ever heard.
A masterpiece in every sense of the word.
