very special group
most musicians will never be as creative as they were
for like a year when I was in high school I had a playlist timed from the time I got on the bus and went to school and "BOOGIE" was timed to when I walked through the doors
corny of me but like yeah what a record
the whole saturation project will be remembered as one of the most innovative and cohesive projects of the 2010s
a great achievement in dream pop
couple tracks on this joint that make you transcend
not a perfect album by any means but The Weeknd has been essentially the only exciting giant male pop act for like a decade now so yeah he deserves his flowers
fun record the hit track off this is awesome
excited for their stuff in the future

unreasonably good I still think this is the best song from the beef
Cordae is clearly trying very hard and while nothing here is upsetting to listen to, there is not a single track that emits any reaction from me other than a yawn. He's cocky here, (certainly in an early Ye way, see the chipmunk soul samples) but the music does not back it up. Not that it's bad, but certainly generic and uninventive. Maybe I don't have the vision, but damn a lot of these tracks are nothing special. I'll have to look into the lyrics more, but my first impressions are that it's a good record, but Kendrick has set such a high standard for what a Kendrick album can be, as such, ... read more
