I don't really know how to interpolate this record that would sound all that appealing to people who don't normally hear music that's not a pop song. Songs that are made to be appealing and lovely sounding to reach to as many people as possible to listen. Songs that have a catchy chorus, and iconic riff, lyrics that are lovely that become earworms. I think this record has redeeming qualities to it. The sound the band managed to conjure is great and is so great it spawned a whole new genre. That's a feat for a band of white guys who are just in their feelings which is a vibe I can get by. The problems for me are the record's lyricism is cringy. My first review of a Radiohead album. This record is many things to Radiohead. It was a complete departure from what already was their biggest hit "Ok Computer". A record they were playing with a lot of different guitar tones and adding some electronic sounds that were sleek, futuristically predictable, and was their biggest artistic statement commercially. This has got to be one of the greatest metal records of all time. Each song on here is just fantastic. Even the interlude track "Losfer Words (Big 'Orra) is pretty great as a build up to one of my favorite metal songs ever "Flash of the Blade".
