The sampling (specifically on track 3) is so good. Love the ideas here and see a lot of potential in this artist's future. Will be listening for more!

Tyler, The Creator - CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST
95

Even better than Igor, Tyler's raps are super fun and melodies across the tracks are very different yet similar in the fact that they're all GOOD. Best song is RISE!

Tyler, The Creator - IGOR

This album is really fun and experimentative. Tyler's improvement from previous record is especially noticeable in here and his range of genres, from pop to rage, is extremely fun to bounce around when listening to the album straight through. Great record, great sounds, great artist.

Nirvana - In Utero
95

Best album by Nirvana. Super raw and fun with its sounds, but also keeps its crazy roots with tracks like Milk It and Very Ape. 90s classic alongside its two Nirvana brothers.

Nirvana - Bleach
95

Bleach is raw and full of emotion. Kurt's singing is unmatched and the beautiful melodies and sounds made in this album are unskippable. Great first record.

This album continues to shock me with its beautiful sounds. The band doesn't lay back though, they continue to bust into your eardreams with tracks like Territorial Pissings and Stay Away, get real funky in Lounge Act and In Bloom, and take a step back and chill in On A Plain and Something in the Way. Great album.

Mac Miller - Circles

Once again, an amazing record from Mac Miller. I wish he could've heard it and seen how insanely well-received it was.

Mac Miller - Swimming

Stunning work from Mac. This album feels very exciting and optimistic for the future, while also respecting your past and mistakes made. Mac seems to always effortlessly blend beautiful, synthy breakdowns with his funky and fun raps. Songs like Small Worlds and Come Back to Earth are very profound and send a message to the soul. The connection Miller makes with his audience through lyrics and sounds is unmatched.

Billie Eilish - Happier Than Ever
NR

Beautiful songs and top notch writing. Billie's eerie yet soothing voice paired with wonderful instrumentals makes for a great 56 minute experience.

Billie Eilish - HIT ME HARD AND SOFT

Beautiful album from Billie, amazing sounds coming from songs like The Diner and Chihiro, lyrical chilling tracks like Lamour De Ma Vi, Birds of a Feather & Skinny and of course fun songs like Lunch. Lots of good sounds being made in this album and I'm all for it. Keep cooking, Billie.

twenty one pilots - Clancy

There is not a single skip on this album. Insanely catchy melodies, fun and different flows, addicting drum patterns and beautiful production. Clancy is already one of my favorite works from the band and I've been one for over 10 years.

LEAST FAVS: The Craving (Jenna's Version)

twenty one pilots - Scaled and Icy

Scaled and Icy is in between a rock and a hard place. Tracks like The Outside, Shy Away and Redecorate are insanely catchy and fun to vibe with, but I think the lyrics and sudden switch-up in style can cause a bit of whiplash. Twenty One Pilots has never been one to fool around in prior albums, however the experimentalization in this album took a step out of that boundary they've been in and while some may not enjoy, the style has immensely grown on me. This album is different and embraces ... read more

twenty one pilots - Trench

This album is extremely profound and innovative. It mixes the sound of electric synths and drumkits with beautiful bass tones, acoustic drumkits and amazing vocals. Tyler Joseph's writing is once again very strong and his ear for melody is especially keen on this album. No skips.
FAVS: Jumpsuit, Pet Cheetah, My Blood
LEAST FAVS: Smithereens

twenty one pilots - Blurryface

This album is a throwback to a time when life was simpler. No track on this album seems uncared for or undesired and the care that Tyler Joseph put into this project is worn on his sleeve. While certain songs can be repetitive or almost overtly angsty (looking at Message Man), this record is worth a listen.

twenty one pilots - Vessel

This album is as whole-hearted and passionate as they come. Tyler Joseph's lyrics never fail to send a message to listeners and his ear for melody and style is insanely good. While there is definitely some songs not as strong as others, this album doesn't have a single skip in my book. Bravo.
