so a lot of people consider bruce springsteen to be one of the greatest american songwriters ever. this album, "born to run" has a particularly high amount of acclaim. now its not just bruce here, theres also the e street band with members such as saxophonist clarence clemons. im sure everyone knows classic title track "born to run" but if you havent listened to this album you can expect the rest holds up to the high standard set by that song.

when youre walking around, youll probably notice a lot of people with band shirts on. do these people even listen to those bands? probably not. the classic example of this is with the nirvana shirt. youll also see a lot of blink shirts around which is how i became aware of them and decided to listen to their most popular album, "enema of the state".

so in the 2000s there was coldplay which was blowing up with albums such as parachutes and a rush of blood to the head. there were a lot of bands that were trying to copy that sound that they had but dont simply disregard snow patrol as one of those bands. theres so much more than you think to be found here.

so as some of you guys may know one of kurt cobains favorite bands was rem. before hearing this id heard nirvana on the radio of course but never sat down to listen to them. knowing that kurt and michael really liked each others music was just another reason to listen to them, as rem is one of my favorite bands ever.
