Yesterday Vince Staples dropped his sixth album, "Cry Baby", but first I wanted to go back and listen to "Dark Times". "Dark Times" is a mature and introspective project that should've gotten more attention. Songs like "Black & Blue" and "Government Cheese", where he's talking about his struggles, showcase Vince's lyrical ability. A chill jazzy production fits the album perfectly.

"With a home team advantage, most people don't see the damage"
Top tier beats and samples from an underrated producer Danger Mouse and a great lyricism from Black Thought. Aquamarine is the best track on this project. I liked MF DOOM's flow on Belize. Arguably the best album of the decade.
Smooth and laid-back project. Larry June's and Curren$y's delivery was dull on some songs
Although some beats were pretty good, this mixtape is the worst WSG project I've heard so far
Standout drumless jazzy production by Uncle Al and stellar Gibb's flow. I wish Westside Gunn was on this album.
Honorable mention: Babies & Fools
