With an 81/100 on Metacritic and Anthony Fantano's first ever 10/10 album, "The Money Store" is by far the most sophisticated and electrifying album I have ever heard. Every 808, every drum beat played by the incredibly talented Zach Hill, every forced edgy pronunciation. All of it is just an experimental wet dream. The money store is an album that cannot be re-made or heard again for the first time its a one and done, but still some how the most remarkable and note-worthy pieces ... read more
One of if not the most prominent slowcore album of all time (besides red house painters down colorful hill, of course) "songs about leaving" leaves you spiraling with emotions. It one of those things that you just have to sit there and absorb for a minute before you really come to terms with what you just listened to. But the song is really want to talk about is the infamous "songs you want to be a superhero" truly a heart wrenching song. The disoriented lyrics, the guitar, ... read more
Very interesting first listen. I have never heard of this band before, the album cover is also raw as fuck, and as for the music, it's exceptional. The front woman's vocal flips are okay as well, and there's a DEATH GRIPS MENTION!! But sadly it's just a bit nothing burger for me right now. 9 times out of 10 I will come back to an album unless it's like, really REALLY bad and or forgettable so maybe I'll listen to the bands other stuff and come back to this In the ... read more
Recently, I lost my cat pig to saddle thrombosis, a type of blood clot, we had no idea that he was having heart complications since before Tuesday spetember 16th 2025 since he was completely fine and not showing any signs of being in pain so it came as a total surprise to me and my family, but especially my dad, and with that, I've also been having body image issues trying relentlessly to better myself to no avail, these past two months have been real rough, and that's what this album ... read more
FUCK YOU JOHNNY UTAH TURN MY PAGES BITCH
Throughly enjoyed this album, especially the title track "pervets" as the meaning behind it is absolutely haunting to me, it has its highs and lows and just like many of ethels other albums is very slow in pace, which is a turn off I could see people having for this album but over all pretty good
You wouldn't get it I say flicking the ash off my cigarette
This MIGHT be my aoty 😭🙏🏻
I've always liked Tyler's music, and it's always been such a big part of my life that I knew I wouldn't be upset at this. I really like Tyler's vocal range and also really like the way he mixes samples and his storytelling abilities. Specifically in noid where he talks about ppl stalking / watching him, and the fact that the chorus is in another language is really creative and also sound bomb asf, but at the same time the features for ... read more
There are no other words to describe this album but transcendal and timeless. This feels like an album I will listen to forever, every rhyme that comes out of geordies mouth feels over the top and rushed like his words will run away before he can express them. A vomit of horny non-sense but in the best way possible. Every track is electric and tense it makes you want to get up and just move. The perfect prog/jazz rock album.
Cheap song that sound like it would be played as music in a sketchy store that sells overpriced streetwear

Idk if it's just because this is one of the first albums my dad ever owned and recently gave a copy of it to me or I'm just biased but this is actually really good its my guilty pleasure
Fave track: cumbersome
What the fuck is that album cover
GOATED :D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think I've made this clear before but incase I haven't I don't really like electro-pop, of course there's been some good songs and albums to come out of it (like this one) but I wasn't particularly head over heels for the style. Yet porter Robinson really came through and made me warm up to the genre, this album was a really fun experience to
