how do you copy the greatest band ever and manage to make it sound bad :(

sorry thats mean but i feel like this band, along with many other modern shoegaze bands, fall into the same trap of "experimenting" but then coming off as gimmicky. many of the fusions and different elements in this album sound like an oil-water mixture. the band doesn't blend their influences well. the songwriting isn't all there either. the only thing giving the songs movement are the clean guitar ... read more

the first 3 tracks are good—esp field trip, but after that a lot of the album feels unfinished :(
