Genuinely one of the best music experiences I've ever had if not the best. I got recommended this recently from a larger reviewer on the site and I'm so glad they did. This album is incredibly varied and has multiple different genres that blend perfectly. This has to be one of the best live performances out there and the live audience enhances the listening experience. The best moment of the live audience for me has to be when the giant 40-minute Long Season ends and the crowd after about 10 ... read more
Filled with bangers and heartfelt songs that very much seem like an ode to the West Coast sound. So many different vibes to this album that I love. Also filled with great writing, especially on tracks like reincarnated and the heart pt.6 which have two of the best beats on this project with dodger blue being the vibiest of them all. Not strung together by a particular theme other than maybe hype because of how great this is.

After re-listening to the song 100 after a long time and seeing how great that song is I wanted to listen to the entire album to see if there were any similar-sounding songs that were just as good. What I wasn't expecting though was for the rest of the album to be as varied in sound as it was. The drums felt pretty post-punk which I liked and the guitar always sounds very dream-like. Punk is the only track that has some sort of hip-hop type beat to it which is nice because it feels like it ... read more
Goes through a lot of stages just in one song and a little all over the place but in a good way. Sounds really good and whatever samples he's taking are great. Instrumentally this is great but the writing doesn't feel fully baked but there are parts where it really hits. Excited to see what's in stock for the full album
This has been on my list for a while now and happening upon it once again made me want to finally listen to it. This album has a pretty unique sound compared to really anything else I've listened to before partly because of its age I'm sure and the door's sound. Morrison's vocals are pretty special here and add alot to the listening experience especially with how deep it is but he definitley still has range. I like the haunting or spooky kind of sound this album has on ... read more
Listened to a few songs off this album before listening to the whole thing and was hoping for more of it. What I got didn't entirely live up to those songs and they happened to pretty much just be the best tracks on the album. I love the trip-hop sounds of All I Need and You Make It Easy and wish the album honed a bit more in on this sound. Also it'd be nice to hear more jazzier songs like Ce Matin-La throughout since that was also one of my favorites.
