i don't possess the vocabulary to be able to express just how amazing this album is. ethel cain is a modern genuis and visionary when it comes to music, her art will be remembered for ages for being as evocative, melancholic, cathartic, and gutwrenching as it is. i hate myself for not getting to this sooner but i knew i needed to wait for the right moment to listen to it in full.

oh wow. this band has been one of the biggest influences on me as a person, my thoughts, battle and experience with mental health/mental illness, relationship to music and especially LIVE MUSIC.... they have impacted me in ways i cannot even begin to explain in an AOTY review.
