Songs captiveert mij; haar inhoud breekt mij.
The circle of life, daar draait het album om.
Varied, spicy & fun
Silke sparked my interest in the live shows of the Voice with the seemingly unlimited range of genres and styles she could bring to the podium. Her quite a unique vocal temper & outspoken artistry makes it hard to look away from her performances. It was enough to convince me to check out her music.
Sexy Tragedy is more of a proof of concept than a full album experience, which is fine for an EP. Silke is obviously trying to convey as much creativity as possible ... read more
Actually enjoyable.
This single is already much better than her first. It's witty, has somewhat interesting production quirks, and Niki's vocals fit the track. She's obviously still growing as a vocalist, but I think she knows her limitations well enough to make this an enjoyable jingle.

Lyrics and production are pretty generic, but there's hope for something interesting to grow from this. Considering it's her first release, I think it's worth checking in on her work in the future.
Praise her, beast she is.
Caligula embodies the rightful hate Kristin Hayter fosters for the world. Singing, howling and screaming her way through rage, religious doubts, betrayal, and hunger for retribution, she presents us an unshatterable and terrible image of a prophet of violence – viewed through such a vulnerable and personal lens that it’s frightening. Lingua Ignota’s third solo LP is not for the faint-hearted.
A flagship of the Neoclassical Darkwave genre, Caligula ... read more
Spring vibes!!!
Released exactly one week after their first EP of 2025, They Left Me with a Gun is an improvement on all fronts. Leaning more heavily into rock, the album manages to create an incredibly catchy sound brimming with sing-along hooks and fun guitar riffs. What a way to start off our spring.
There is no lack of Paris Texas’ wacky bars on this project, but as is always the case in the duo’s best efforts, they add to the fun of the listening experience, so I certainly ... read more
