Exmilitary is pure violence, rage, and rawness packed into audio form. It tells the story of a Vietnam War veteran with PTSD giving into all of his horrid urges and indulging in drugs, sex, and alcohol. Some of the best writing, vocal performances, and production I've ever heard. Masterpiece :)
This is one of the most emotionally impactful albums I have ever listened to. Its rough around the edges, it's full of pain, and it's downright disturbing.
The worst part about it all - it's relatable. Incredibly relatable.
It has some excellent production, though some of the songs are mind numbingly repetitive. It's still enjoyable throughout, just very repetitive after a while.
Thriller is one of the most iconic and popular albums of all time, and for good reason. All the instrumentals are fantastic, the songwriting is great, and unsurprisingly, Michael's vocals are stellar
It's a pretty neat Memphis rap album, my only complaint is it has this weird dry sound throughout that makes it feel kinda awkward. Still a very enjoyable and fun album that makes me want to commit felonies
While it's kinda neat, it's the same exact spoken word passage read over 5 times. Is the spoken word passage cool? Yeah, but not cool enough to warrant any higher score.
