Loved listening to this, it feels like a ghibli movie
This 50-year-old dude is trying to rage bait with stuff that 2012 YouTubers have said a hundred times over. Especially the lines of people trying to cancel him annoyed me after it was brought up for the fifth time.
Other than that, I do think there are some fun songs on this record, even tho I did not like any of the hooks. Especially the JID feature stood out as the highlight of this album.
Every song after Guilty conscience 2 feels like random singles that should not be there.
I was a huge G-Eazy fan a couple of years ago (mainly of his older records), but the stuff he has dropped the last couple of years might be some of the most generic or downright horrible rap ever.
This downward spiral continues on this record, with terrible lyrics, garbage features, a theme that he apparently forgot about after the intro and some completely generic cuts.
The best song is Lady Killers III, which has a nice beat (the lyrics are obviously still trash). Everything else, ... read more
Snake eyes is probably the worst song i have ever heard. At least it made me laugh
This is probably the worst album that has ever been made, the worst part is she is actually trying here.
Feels like Berlin, club mate and hand rolled cigarettes. Jokes aside it's a chill summer album. The lyrics can be very corny, but I don't mind it too much. Definitely not for everyone, but if you dig the whole aesthetic makko is going for, you will definitely enjoy it.
Interesting record with some intriguing style choices. Held back by some stretched out tracks and weird usage of autotune. Delivery, flow and the general vibe are pretty good tho
Great experimental future bass album. Also contains an amazing feature from JPEGMAFIA.
My absolute favorite album. Objectively not perfect but features some great instrumentals and vocal performances. Also tells an interesting story especially with the music videos and DPR IAN's backstory.
Definitely worth a listen for the music videos and aesthetics alone.
