To me, JPEGMAFIA is the single most impressive artist of the last decade. Since maybe 2010, is it fair to say we watched hip hop evolve and branch out more rapidly than any genre ever has? Been a minute since I listened to this in full. Revisiting it and damn! I Appear Missing is still flawless. Love how catchy this whole album is. Making an album where every single song is great seems to be a proven strategy 🧐

Even the outro, man. The way it builds so slowly that you don't even really clock that the guitars are going Ballistic until they drop out and that pulsing bass kicks in... 👌
