I fucking love When Dream and Day Unite.
This album is way too bashed on by fans. I love Charlie Dominici's vocals. They suit the tracks incredibly well and feel incredibly right for Dream Theater, despite not being the voice most think of when we think of Dream Theater. In my opinion, Dominici's vocals resemble that of Geddy Lee from Rush, which I appreciate.
I think the instrumental to this album is also strong. The songs are long, but don't feel long. It's hard to get ... read more
Great metal album! Can definitely hear the inspiration from Metallica on a lot of the tracks. I thought a couple of the tracks were really mushy and resembled more of a melancholy ballad kind of thing which I’m not a huge fan of, but still I really enjoyed those listens as well. None of the tracks were bad. The basslines were incredibly strong, I liked the vocals, and they had some great soloing in here. Really liked this! Will definitely listen again.
Definitely Pantera’s best album.
Mad heavy, angry, great groove, and nice flow from track to track. Every instrument is perfect. Pantera wouldn’t be Pantera without Phil, without Dimebag, without Vinnie, or without Rex. They all have such an important part in each song and it makes for a beautiful sound. Far Beyond Driven has the best writing and composition out of all the Pantera albums and shows each members talent the absolute best. Kick ass.

This album is an absolute wonder and undoubtedly my favorite album Metallica has ever produced. The tracks have complex, technical structures and exceptional instrumentals. So exceptional that Lars had to record his drum parts in different sessions, haha. The lyricism in ... read more
Rust In Peace is a perfect thrash album.
Dave Mustaine is such an incredibly talented musician, his riffs never disappoint and his solos are godly. Best guitarist of all time, hands down. Rust In Peace has some of the best riffs in all of thrash and general metal history. The bass is fantastic, the guitars are phenomenal, the drums are booming. Even Mustaine’s vocals at this time were top tier, haha. Gosh, this album is just amazing. It’s bewildering how people can produce such an ... read more
