It's early Geese. They don't quite know who they are yet it seems on A Beautiful Memory, but you can see their sound as a work in progress. The first 3 Tracks are excellent (especially the single version of Smoke in Japan), but for the rest of the album they dip into a very low energy band. It's not bad, but it's not the bombastic, 'the world is ending and our brains are exploding' type-sound you see on some of Projector and 3D (& 4D) Country.

It's not good but in a good way. What some may call poor mastering, I think of the release as a punk show but you're in a trippy dream and you're experiencing it from the venue's bathroom.
The insanity of the lyrics and Sebastian's vocal delivery make this one of the craziest of the decade. Viagra Boys criticism of the absurdity of living in the modern world is delivered with sarcasm, screaming, and character assumption. Ain't No Thief is hilarious. Creepy Crawlers is an exploration of falling hard for conspiracy theories. Return to Monke might be their best song they've ever put out.
