this isn't really my thing, but it is undeniably a fantastic album from start to finish. If you like this sort of thing, more power to you, there's a reason this album is considered one of the best of all time
also that last song is one of the best closers to an album i've heard since motion picture soundtrack off of Kid A.
this album was really good, but it kinda threw all of it's heavy hitters at the start and then wound down as the album continued. Still a really fun listen with a lot of punchy beats and lyricism that genuinely just floored me. Fantano is wrong though, there are definitely skips
this is my second favorite radiohead single, I feel like they should have put this on an album for sure. It's so groovy and ethereal, thom kills it on the vocals (easily top ten vocal performances for him), and it's not even on an album. I never skip this song when it comes up on my playlist
taylor swift has genuinely just lost the plot bro....
this album, on top of sounding so bland and uninteresting it hurts, is completely out of touch with reality. She continues to pander to her audience of mostly teenage girls in this album, and this is ESPECIALLY insulting considering she's PUSHING 35 YEARS OF AGE. That. THAT is the most egregious part of the album to me and the reason that songs like eldest daughter and actually romantic leave such a bad taste in my mouth. Almost every ... read more
I accidentally reviewed this, thinking this is the album my roommate played on vinyl all the time, but it was actually bewitched goddess edition so i guess my 80 is reserved for that album. i'll listen to this album later and come back to review it before the year ends
I freakin love this album, need i say more? best song is lowkey mercury don't @ me bro get trolled
edit: i probably should say more, this album has zero skips and it really does feel ahead of it's time. It's cohesive, catchy at some parts, thoughtful and emotional at others, and in general i love steve's guitar. this is an album that will make kids in 2050 say they were born in the wrong generation.
I really only remember that one song everyone likes, because it's good and i like it too!
this album is kinda repetitive, but hey, if your sound isn't broke, why fix it amirite or amirite lads!
my sister made me wear a charcoal clay mask one day and I think i looked like david byrnes lowkey
I heard part of one song off of scrapyard and thought this guy was bedroom shoegaze emo type stuff. then i listened to this album and bawled on the floor. this album is literally indescribable, just listen
genuinely at a loss for words. I haven't been this hype for an album since glass beach plastic death. are they even making an album?? if they are, they better put these songs on there. magdalena bay never misses
I barely remember anything i listened to, it feels like a fever dream. but like the good kind. actually less like a fever dream and more like a half conscious haze. the kind you get in the morning when you just wake up and can't tell what's going on. but in a good way.
you should take this album cover and make a crappy redraw of it and then put it on a cheap dropshipped doormat and then sell them on social media platforms
this feels like their previous album, but honestly, a lot more compelling and a lot more diverse. Panchiko tried a lot of things on this album, and i can confidently say that most of them worked.
edit: I genuinely think panchiko are entering into their prime with this album, I love this album more and more the more i listen
I used to think this album was overrated
then i realized i'm a colossal moron
arguably radiohead's best, certainly their most accessible (other than the bends i guess but that doesn't count)
edit: actually after writing this review, i rated all the tracks and then remembered that this album has 3 songs that just aren't nearly as good as the other songs, so i dropped my rating 98->96. Still fantastic fantastic, but slumps heavily in the middle
it is frankly unbecoming of me to give a pop album anything higher than a 5, considering how i feel about pop music as a whole nowadays, but sweet golly gee whilikers this album is so punchy and groovy and fun and sweet and man i never did think i would ever give a modern pop album this high praise, believe you me. This album so deserves a listen from pretty much anybody who likes music, like at all. Perhaps if i had listened to it earlier, it would have beat plastic death for my album of the ... read more
I was gonna make a joke about how the title of the album is wet dream and that's what happens to you when you listen to it, but this album is far too good for that, please go listen to it right now
edit: don't read the lyrics, they're absolutely horrendous, but it's mostly ignorable because he usually sings in unintelligable gibberish anyway 87 -> 86
