"Taming The Tiger" might not have any stand-out tracks, but it is an overall pleasant and relaxing listening experience.
Joni's pessimistic lyrics and the songs' misanthrophic tones make it hard to enjoy the music on this album.
Aside from a few songs sticking out, "Night Ride Home" is a beautiful return to the acoustic guitar based songs for Joni Mitchell.
The best songs on here thrive in the synthy atmosphere Joni has created, whereas the worst ones are grating on the listener's ears.
Though the sonic experimentation holds interesting moments, Joni finds herself being swallowed by synths and drum machines most of the time.
