"God’s Son" is a fantastic album from Nas, showing him at his most personal and honest. Coming after a really tough period in his life, he channels all that emotion into some of the best storytelling of his career.
The beats blend gritty street anthems with smoother, soulful tracks, and Nas sounds incredibly sharp and focused throughout. While a couple of songs keep it just shy of absolute perfection, the highlights here are massive. Overall, it’s a brilliant album that ... read more
"Nastradamus" is easily the most criticized album in Nas’s catalog, but it’s far from the total train wreck its reputation suggests. While it clearly doesn’t hit the heights of his previous work, his natural lyrical talent still shines through in flashes.
The album leans heavily into a glossy, late-90s commercial sound that doesn't always suit him, making the project feel dated and undeniably uneven. However, there are still enough solid tracks and interesting ... read more
"I Am…" is a solid album from Nas, even if it doesn’t hit the same level as his two previous albums. But then again, it's almost impossible to live up to the standards Nas sat. Nas still sounds sharp lyrically, and there are some really strong tracks scattered throughout the project.
This album has a smoother, more commercial sound at times, which works on some songs better than others. While it can feel a little uneven, the highlights are strong enough to make it a ... read more
I imagine it must've been hard for Nas to create something that could even be considered on the same level as "Illmatic," but damn did he succeed.
"It Was Written" is one of Nas strongest albums, and it feels like a perfect follow-up to "Illmatic" while still having its own identity. The album has a darker, smoother, and more cinematic sound, giving it a completely different atmosphere from his debut.
The production is also a huge highlight of this albmn. ... read more
"Illmatic" is a perfect album from Nas and easily one of my favorite rap albums ever. It's the kind of project that feels timeless no matter how many times you hear it.
The production is incredible. Every beat has its own personality, blending jazz and boom-bap into a sound that’s smooth and gritty at the same time. The album is packed with classic songs, but it works even better as a full experience from beginning to end.
Overall, Illmatic is one of those rare albums ... read more
"Stillmatic" feels like Nas is trying to remind everyone exactly who he is after "Nastradamus" and "I Am...," and he definitely suceeded. This is one of those albums that sounds confident from the very first track, with Nas rapping like he has something to prove, which he also did.
The album has a really strong balance between aggressive tracks and more thoughtful moments. “Ether” is obviously one of the biggest highlights because of how direct and ... read more
Now, if you ask me, this is definitely one of Nas' most underrated albums. This is definitely also one of his best records ever.
Nas is in top form lyrically here. The storytelling, detail, and atmosphere throughout the album are amazing, and every track feels personal and vivid. The production has that classic early-2000s sound, which is smooth and soulful, and that's something Nas fits perfectly.
I had a very hard time imagining this album could get any worse than "Habibti" but oh boy was I wrong. Guys, please don't even waste your time listening to this 😭
The features were awful, Drake's sexual lyricism sucked, and I genuinely don't understand how anyone could sit down and think: "omg yes, let's release this!"
This is coming from someone who usually likes Drake's music: this is genuinely the worst piece of music Drake has EVER put out in his entire life. Now, I haven't listened to "Maid of Honor" yet, but I have a feeling it's going to be even worse than this.
I won't waste my time writing a review for this, but I think we all can agree that Sexyy Red needs to stop being featured on songs. Cheers, have a good Friday.
This album was definitely better than what people in my circle have made it out to be. If you ask me, "ICEMAN" is definitely Drake's best album since "Scorpion." But then again, the standard hasn't been very high, has it?
This has some enjoyable moments without fully living up to its potential. The production is one of the stronger parts of the album, with a cold, moody sound that fits Drake’s style really well.
Drake sticks to the mix of melodic rap and ... read more
While this album definitely isn't on the same album as "Chikara," it's still a very good album. The only problem I have with this album is that I find it to get a bit too slow and boring at times, which brings my score down.

This is definitely different from the album I just listened to by Che, lol.
"Unsilent Death" is an absolutely brutal album from Nails. It’s short, aggressive, and completely relentless from start to finish, barely giving you a second to breathe.
The production sounds filthy in the best way possible, with crushing guitars and drums that hit like a wall. Everything feels raw and violent, which fits the album perfectly. Even though the songs are short, they leave a huge impact ... read more
I'm too tired to write a proper review as of right now, but to say I was surprised to discover how much I actually like this album would be an understatement lmao.
This was actually so bad that I barely want to waste time on writing a review, but here I am..
First of all, if you're going to try and be like Michael Jackson, at least do it properly. This isn't "Thriller," this should be named "Filler" instead.
See, AI is already bad enough as it is. But adding it to songs? That's actually next level and I seriously hate it so much. Be talented on your own, instead of relying on a robot to carry you through it.

This album was definitely an interesting listen for me, because music like this usually isn't my style at all, because I tend to get very overwhelmed by how much there's normally going on. I didn't feel that at all here. I've been wanting to give ug a try, and my friend recommended this album to me, so I thought: "why not?"
The thing that stood out the most on this album was the energy and production. A lot of the songs are loud, chaotic, and packed with effects, ... read more
I was surprised when I saw the little amount of ratings this album got.. I loved the Action Bronson feature, though.
