Finally the first "Sort Sol" album where I don't need to add the track list ðŸ˜
"Glamourpuss" is my favourite album from "Sort Sol" so far, and shows them at a high level. This album sounds dark and stylish, and overall has a very cool sounds to it.
The guitars have a nice edge to them, and the production keeps everything feeling sharp without being too polished. Vocally, there’s a lot of attitude, but also some quieter moments that add a bit of ... read more

"Stor Langsom Stjerne" is a very unique album from Sort Sol, who I'm also seeing in August!
The production is one of the albumd biggest highlights. Everything is carefully layered, giving the songs an almost cinematic feel.
Songs like "The Weightless," "Life Took You For A Freq.," and "K-141 Kursk," are examples of when the albums songs were slow and dark to the perfect degree, while songs like "Søøre," and "... Like A ... read more
"In and Out of Control," is a very strong album from "The Raveonettes," and definitely one of their most enjoyable and replayable albums.
I'm a bit too lazy to write a proper review tonight, because it's getting late, but I'm very excited that I'm getting to see this amazing duo in 4 months!
"Bad" is yet another incredible album from Michael Jackson, but not quite as good as "Thriller," or "Off the Wall," but it's close. "Bad" is definitely one of Michael's strongest and most consistent projects.
The sound of every song here sounds more modern and sharp than they did on the previous albums from Michael. The production is very clean, the album sounds confident throughout every single track, and has a very bold energy.
And to no ... read more
"Thriller" for me is my favourite Michael Jackson album. It takes everything that made "Off the Wall great" and pushes it even further, with bigger ideas, stronger production, and more iconic moments.
Every track has its own identity, and every single track is strong in its own way, but they all come together (beatles reference) really well, so the album never sounds inconsistent.
Michael’s vocals are incredible throughout. He sounds confident, expressive, and ... read more
"Off The Wall" is one of the absolutely amazing albums from Michael Jackson. It’s a huge improvement from his earlier work and feels like the moment where everything truly comes together.
From the start, the album is packed with energy, style, and confidence. The mix of disco, funk, and pop is incredibly smooth, and every track feels polished without losing its fun. This is easily my favourite disco album ever.
Vocally, Michael is on another level here. His performances are ... read more
"Ben" for me doesn't feel like a good album, nor a mediocre album. It's something in between those two ratings for me.
The highlight of this album is obviously still Michael's voice, because of how smooth, emotional and controlled he sounds, which is incredibly impressive for a fourteen year old.
However, the album itself feels a bit uneven. Some songs don’t leave much of an impact, and a few tracks feel more like filler than fully developed ideas. There are ... read more
"Got to Be There" is a solid and enjoyable debut from Michael Jackson. It’s easy to appreciate even if it’s not his strongest album overall.
What stands out the most is how naturally talented Michael already sounds at such a young age. His voice is smooth, expressive, and full of emotion. The potential he had is very clear here.
This album was a bit inconsistent, and it wasn't close to being Michael's best album, but still a very enjoyable debut album.
"The Times They Are A-Changin’" is probably my favorite album by Bob Dylan, and it’s one that really makes me feel something every time I listen to it.
This album might be really simple, sure — it's just Dylan, his guitar and an emotional voice — but that's one of the reasons I love it so much.
The lyrics of every song feels honest, being about change, struggle, and injustice in a way that still feels relevant. Songs like the title track capture a ... read more
I truly believe using AI to make music is ruining the industry. If you don't have the talent, or want to work to become, a singer then don't try. We don't want this slop, get a life.
"After Hours" is definitely my favourite album that The Weeknd has ever put out. This definitely feels like one of his most complete and focused projects.
Vocally, The Weeknd sounds as good as ever. His voice carries a lot of emotion, whether he’s on slower, more reflective tracks or bigger, more energetic songs. Sure, the lyrical themes are pretty much the same as always, but he managed to make these sound more personal than usual.
The thing that really makes "After ... read more
"Cheat Codes" is an incredible album and easily one of the best hip-hop releases in recent years. This album stands out as a near-perfect blend of sharp lyrics and top-tier production.
Black Thought delivers some of the best rapping of his career here. His flow is effortless and his lyrics are packed with meaning, and precision.
Danger Mouse’s production is just as impressive. The beats are smooth, and full of character. He mixes a lot of different sounds in here without it ... read more
I'd be lying if I said this isn't one of the albums that charmed me the most throughout my entire life, because damn.
Listening to an album like this on a day that might have been a bit bad isn't the worst idea — it fit perfectly, at least.
This album might be simple lyrically and production wise, but it's done incredibly perfectly if you ask me — something I don't see often in albums.
This is the kind of album where you feel a lot just listening to the ... read more
This album was an extremely charming and catchy album. You can definitely tell Gilbert is heavily inspired by The Beatles based on the way he writes and had these songs produced - especially a typical song by Paul McCartney. I'm all for The Beatles inspired albums when it's done well, and Gilbert certainly managed to do that.
The album is full of memorable melodies, fun piano riffs, and light, playful lyrics. Gilbert’s voice is warm and expressive, which makes the songs easy to ... read more
This album should also be called "Listen to This if you Don't Want to Give Your Day a Chance."
“In Rainbows” by Radiohead is one of those albums that just makes you feel everything at once.
The melodies, the vocals, the rhythm, and the production all come together in a way that feels so natural, but at the same time so emotional. Nothing feels forced or overdone.
Songs like “Nude,” “All I Need,” and “Videotape” are some of the ... read more
This album should be titled "Listen to This if you Don't Want to Give Your Day a Chance (Disk 2," because that's exactly what this album makes me feel like.
The melodies, the vocals, the rhythm, and just every single thing about this album makes one feel emotional. That's how I feel like most Radiohead albums make me feel — emotional. They're something I've put on often if I needed to have something that related to my bad days.
This is easily my ... read more
How could anyone ever hate a good, old Kate Bush album, especially "The Dreaming?" That's something I'm unsure of, because I could never give this album any less than a 10/10.
From the very start of listening to this album, you already know it's gonna be unpredictable and unique, in the best way possible. Every single song has its own strange rhythm and bold production choices that you've never heard before.
Kate Bush' vocals is definitely what makes this ... read more
"Wings at the Speed of Sound," sounded like they had a lot more fun with this than they did with all of their past albums, which I liked a lot.
Another thing wings did different from their previous albums have been going from the more 'rock' like albums, and then this album comes, and it's definitely sounds more 'pop' like.
While the title of the album suggests that this will be songs with a faster pace, it's definitely the opposite, which isn't ... read more
