hippie jazz! (?) would go hard in an earthbound imo
might be biased on this one (negatively). but most songs are interesting. the yelling gets pretty old and don't like their slow songs. good stuff tho
inconsistent themes but most songs are pretty good and strong. nice!
really enjoyed this technically, but the pop-funk thing wasn't really hitting me right.
maybe it will grow on me but not much stood out to me on this. lyricism is good and some good moments but ultimately one of his less impactful projects imo
genreless raw and touching. maybe it appeals to me for the nostalgia to southern roots, but love it regardless
r&b at the end was nice. the rest lacks the character that makes their music good
may update as it grows on me, but first listen I thought the synths were overdone and it's a little all over the place. Also seemed like he tried a little too hard to stick to a formula, like opening and closing w the chromakopia tag. Not to overshadow the highlights of this, because ultimately Tyler is good at making timeless music and I doubt that this will be the exception, especially with the lyricism, themes, and features that he has going on
found the album a little overrated - not to say that it's not great. lot's of these songs have great replay value and creativity, but some of them are skips tbh lol. Also not related to quality but it's kinda disappointing how Charli XCX reshaped her whole brand around this album. Instead of using this as a stepping stone to become a more timeless artist, she let her whole career become defined by this one album (e.g. changing all her album covers to brat theme on Spotify)
