I'm not gonna lie I'm disappointed. I typically love this guy's music but most of it doesn't really hit right now. Hope it grows in the future

I don’t intend on upsetting anyone with this I’m just saying how I see it. Nobody can convince me otherwise that this album has only been glazed to the point of an 86 rating just because of the pro Palestine activists. I’m not trying to get into politics because the conflict is not black or white and there is nuance. You can praise Israel or Palestine for one thing while also criticising them for others as this is the beauty of creating a balanced and intelligent argument. The ... read more
I hate this album. I really try not to be so negative in my stuff but after seeing this guys previous album (the b side one) on my aoty home page I’ve been listening to their music and I don’t like it. I looked at this because there’s a collab artist and I’ve never heard of them so I thought it might be alright but wow. Firstly the bars are so weird throughout this album (“keep it tucked like a trans” wtf?) and both parties deliveries are horrible, corny and ... read more
I previously thought that with "13'' Frank Beltrame Italian Stiletto with Bison Horn Grips" that the instrumentals from xiu xiu were alright to pretty good but I feel as if there is a decrease in the amount of good beats in this project from the previous. Also, I still have the same complaint that his vocals are horrible and whiney.
I don't really like any songs here but with the previous album I could appreciate kind of, i don't know how to say it but, I can ... read more
YES I listened to this before don’t be dumb and YES I’m proud of it
Perfect blend of bangers, vibe/chill songs, and introspective songs
I really like Dababy’s performances but I don’t care for the other guy. I like how charismatic and confident Dababy always delivers and one of my hottest takes is that Dababy is a very talented rapper. It’s unfortunate that he has a very mixed quality in his discography
i hate this guy's aesthetic he's similar to 2hollis with this ugly feminine long hair thing but stressed is one of the only songs i like from him
I really hate the vocals. The instrumentals and music is good enough for me to somewhat forgive it though.
I am going to be listening to this guys whole discography before don’t be dumb drops. I was always aware of him as an artist but never gave him a shot or listened to any of his songs (apart from praise the lord) but I’m glad that I did. I’m pleasantly surprised with the production, the grand intro of Palace being a good introduction to the album.
From there, the project maintains a strong sense of druggish/psykadelic atmosphere, blending grit, and confidence without feeling ... read more
DANGEROUS SUMMER is amazing. I really love the range of sounds on it and every track feels unique showing yeats versatility. One one side, Growing Pains has super atmospheric and emotional performances while Loco is hard, Oh I Did has the grand instrumental and Come N Go switches it up completely with a different vibe but still sounds great. The way Yeat moves across so many sounds without it feeling messy is crazy. Every song stands out in its own way, and this is the one yeat project I ... read more
One of the most aggressively overhated albums of 2025.
The production and Gunna's chilled delivery make the whole project feel like you’re floating in a cold infinity pool at night, just staring at the stars. His flow on tracks like jus say dat is incredibly smooth, yet the main complaint I see is the 25 song tracklist.
While it’s definitely long, people are judging it like a Kendrick-style concept album, which it isn’t. You don’t need to digest it all in one ... read more
I think this albums alright. The production on this is pretty good with tracks like “Common Loon” and “Veneficium” sounding wellcrafted. I’d say there is a lot of texture and atmosphere that makes the album feel unique which I can kind of appreciate.
But the vocals… they really don’t work for me. He sounds like a 16-year-old emo boy trying to be dramatic, and it ends up clashing with how good the instrumentals are. The music itself carries the project ... read more
