I previously thought that with "13'' Frank Beltrame Italian Stiletto with Bison Horn Grips" that the instrumentals from xiu xiu were alright to pretty good but I feel as if there is a decrease in the amount of good beats in this project from the previous. I really like Dababy’s performances but I don’t care for the other guy. I like how charismatic and confident Dababy always delivers and one of my hottest takes is that Dababy is a very talented rapper. It’s unfortunate that he has a very mixed quality in his discography

I really hate the vocals. The instrumentals and music is good enough for me to somewhat forgive it though.
I am going to be listening to this guys whole discography before don’t be dumb drops. I was always aware of him as an artist but never gave him a shot or listened to any of his songs (apart from praise the lord) but I’m glad that I did. I’m pleasantly surprised with the production, the grand intro of Palace being a good introduction to the album.

The production and Gunna's chilled delivery make the whole project feel like you’re floating in a cold infinity pool at night, just staring at the stars. His flow on tracks like jus say dat is incredibly smooth, yet the main complaint I see is the 25 song tracklist.

I think this albums alright. The production on this is pretty good with tracks like “Common Loon” and “Veneficium” sounding wellcrafted. I’d say there is a lot of texture and atmosphere that makes the album feel unique which I can kind of appreciate.

I do think albums with political messages can be great though like To pimp a butterfly by Kendrick Lamar or even something like Ok computer. For me though, that only works if the music itself is also really strong, and that’s kind of where the album falls apart for me. The large majority of the portions of the songs I would consider boring as it is just “ramping up” but never does its like holding a sneeze but never sneezing imo."

the conversation we are having is proving that there is indeed two sides to the story. Obviously Israel have done bad things but I don't think an album that merely addresses this conflict should be given such overwhelming praise when the actual music really isn't the best. I don't think that releasing this album would make Netanyahu stop the war and appologise and I think that this sort of activism is worthless virtue signalling. That's what I originally meant with the review."

Israel won’t stop until Hamaz is ended Palestinian leaders won’t stop until all of the territory of modern Israel is Palestinian and all Jews in the land are killed so it’s not like Israelis are the only ones with desires of causing mass destruction if the Israeli military wasn’t as strong as it is the attacks would be in reverse. Both people groups are nice however the extremists that rule over Palestine and the leaders of Israel are making it hard for peace."

"@HuellApproved I’d consider myself relatively neutral on it. I like Israel and I like Palestine. I have actually visited both (tel aviv, Jerusalem and ramallah) and they’re very nice places that are unfortunately caught fighting. I just don’t think that an album should be held to such a high regard just because it’s talking about Palestine.
Both Israel and both Palestine have done bad things to each other obviously and this is not a debate rather a fact so I would consider there to be two sides to the story."
