Balu Brigada - Portal

A really nice Indie Rock project. The first 6 song stretch was so good. It kinda slows down a bit towards the second half of the album, but there's a lot of amazing moments on this album. Definitely consider giving it a listen!!!!

DJ Khaled - Brother

Not gonna lie, post is probably the only good part of this song. The verses sound atrocious. The acoustics are okay, but overall this song just sounds stale

twenty one pilots - Drum Show

HOLY SHIT THIS IS PEAK!!!!

Alex Warren - Bloodline

Listen, I know that this song isn’t groundbreaking or anything, but I appreciate that it gives an Avicii vibe. It’s nothing crazy, but there’s a part of me deep down that likes it, so I think that a 6/10 is fair

StarlightDaryl - Music Box of Fate
100

Beautiful from start to finish

Logic - RIGHT TO BE
80

Dude, where were these singles? The difference between this and the rest of the songs you've released are night and day. Genuinely, I need more of this

Tyler, The Creator - DON'T TAP THE GLASS
80

Such a fun record! While I don’t think it’s as good as some of his previous works, I don’t think that’s the point. Tyler wanted to create an album that acts like a disco vibe rather than an intricate, multilayered story meant for deep analyzation. The production is awesome, and the beats are all unique and original. Definitely a fun listen if you have the time, especially when it’s only a half hour long.

shteppi - bad taste.

Good stuff, Shteppi! Really like what you were going for

Empire Of The Sun - We Are the People

Don't care what anyone else says. This song is beautiful. Simple as that

Clipse - Let God Sort Em Out
80

Yeah, this was awesome!

Clips returns to making an album after over a decade and a half of inactivity, and they really brought the house with this one. Kendrick, Nas, Tyler, and many more artists pitch in to create an amazing tribute to hip-hop. Wonderful job!!

Logic - SEVERED TIES
70

You know what? For as worried as I am about this album, I can safely say that this single is pretty good. A greater improvement from the rest of the songs that’ll be on the album

AJR - Betty
100

It do be like that sometimes. Anyways, AJR is underrated!!!!

Benson Boone - American Heart

I hate to say this, but I didn't like the album.

Is Benson Boone hate forced? A little bit. I think it's wrong to disrespect an artist just because of the art they make, unless that art was made to be offensive. That being said, I find it okay to criticize the work of an artist if it's for the goal of helping said artist improve, which I intend to do right now. I should preface this by saying that I'm not against Benson in any way. In fact, I've said on multiple ... read more

shteppi - all i can do is learn.

It's pretty nice. Thought that the sample was very nice, and the overall vibe feels similar to something Porter would release. Nice job, Shteppi!

Juicy J - Live and in Color

So you’re telling me that Logic is busy teasing singles for all his upcoming projects and the first major release he does relates to none of the singles he’s released? Crazy.

Anyways, Imma listen and then give my full thoughts when I’m done. See you in a bit!

Okay. I finished listening, and I will definitely say that the music is solid. That being said, Logic was barely in it outside of the discussions, which is unfortunate. I wish he has a larger presence in the project, ... read more

twenty one pilots - The Contract

THE BOYS ARE GIVING US PEAK 2 YEARS IN A ROW!!!!!! LETS GET IT!!!!!

Logic - Old Logic
70

Logic's release schedule is the most random shitstorm I've ever seen. Man's got 5 upcoming albums, a movie, and who knows what else, and decided to advertise and release them all at once. Like dawg, you said you were gonna retire like 6 albums ago(not complaining though). Either way, this man gotta organize his releases better because at this point, which project is this song even meant for?!?!?!

Empire Of The Sun - Walking On A Dream
70

Probably one of the most influential Synthpop albums of the late 2000s. The first 4 songs in particular can be summed up in 1 word: Euphoric. There isn't a single second where I felt bored while listening, and if they kept up that momentum throughout the entire album then this might have even been considered a top 10 album of all time. Heck, I'd even consider Country to be a great track as well given how much I enjoyed it. It's really the other half of the album that ... read more

John Michel - Egotrip
85

Yeah, this stuff rocks.

John Michel and Anthony James created an absolute gem of a project in Egotrip. For their first project, I will say they did an incredible job. The rapping was filled with emotion from start to finish, and the instrumentals were beautifully produced and mixed. The features were properly utilized and the overall production quality was strong from start to finish. You can tell that they took inspiration from artists like Kendrick and JPEGMAFIA, as both artists can easily ... read more

"@ThePS5Guy thank you! They definitely helped me out a lot, especially when I was first starting out. I will say that the producers (Hala and Shiro) are pretty chill. They both have much larger solo discographies, though their music is definitely not for everyone"
On Ironmouse - Cry For Me (WA WA WA)
"@ThePS5Guy neither. I know the producers personally. They helped me out with some of my music, so I did this as a way to support them. Truthfully, I haven’t listened to this song since it came out over a year ago, so I sort of just forgot about it."

"@Bigballsmam That's fair. I didn't realize that before going into the project. I do wish he had a larger role lyrically, but I do think he did a solid job producing"

"Was at the listening party, and safe to say that it was a 100/10. Absolute euphoria!!!!"
On Imagine Dragons - Smoke + Mirrors
"Smoke and Mirrors 25 -> 50. The beat drop before the chorus is a lot more tolerable in the re-listen now that I knew what to expect. It became a lot more tolerable after giving it a second chance. Friction 35 -> 50. This song also got more tolerable on a re-listen. I guess it's good I have this, SaM, and Gold a second chance, because I think that they're a lot better after I tried them again."
