Logic - 1-800-273-8255

Let’s be real, this song can be very corny at times, but to say that this is one of the worst rap songs of the year, let alone of all time is such an overstatement. The message is deep and real. Suicide isn’t a joke. Hundreds of people take their life every day, and to dunk on a song spreading awareness for that sort of stuff feels wrong.

If you are a person going through suicidal thoughts, you matter. There are people out there who care about you, even if you think otherwise. ... read more

Tyler, The Creator - IGOR
85

IGOR is easily the most important album in Tyler’s entire discography, because while Flower Boy proved he could make amazing music, this album proved that Flower Boy wasn’t a fluke. This man is on a generational run, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he becomes a Super Bowl halftime performer in the next few years.

shteppi - 20.
70

Shteppi delivers a compilation of indie rap and pop songs on 20. Personally, I think that the artist does a solid job crafting seamless transitions, solid instrumental, and clean mixes that allows the song’s 35 minute runtime to fly by fast. Definitely recommend listening to it!

Car Seat Headrest - Teens of Denial
100

Yeah these guys continue to prove why they deserve to be in the goat conversation. Drunk Drivers/Killer Whales is a masterpiece, so much so that it alone makes this a 100/10 album. Enough said.

Pomme - Ma Meilleure Ennemie
70

Ngl, as a Coldplay fan, this version doesn't really elevate the opinion all that much. I think Chris's vocals were a bit unnecessary, but I still enjoyed his inclusion. The song's still solid with or without his vocals. That being said, it did add another verse to the track, so I call that a win.

Malcolm Todd - Malcolm Todd
75

Malcolm Todd's Self Titled project delivers an abundance of fun synth-pop tracks filled with great moments throughout.

This was recommended to me by a friend, so I checked it out, and I have to say, she has good taste. Outside of I Do, every track is a certified banger. Would listen again!

Djo - The Crux
80

Joe Keery is probably the most interesting case for any celebrity-actor-turned-music-artist. When it comes to the product he releases, rather than take a safe approach and release a generic pop record that would make easy money because of his portfolio, he chose to instead remain semi-anonymous, releasing a much more niche record under a pen name. In fact, at one point, he had hoped that no one knew that he was Djo, because he didn’t want people to only listen because of who he is. I ... read more

Black Country, New Road - Forever Howlong
75

Black Country, New Road delivers a pleasant folk album in Forever Howlong, filled with colorful ballads and wonderful instrumentals that will immediately fill any room with good vibes.

This is my first time listening to a BCNR album, and I'm happy to say that I am satisfied. I was especially intrigued with the amount of variation found throughout the tracks. I enjoyed the acoustic sounds used throughout the project, and thought that they did their job very well. This project has ... read more

d4vd - What Are You Waiting For
80

What am I waiting for? For you to drop. Thankfully, you did not disappoint!! The chorus is heavenly, and the instrumental goes hard as hell. My only complaint is that the verses are lacking just a bit, but otherwise this is a song I could play for hours at a time and not get bored! Can't wait for the album!!

Skrillex - F*CK U SKRILLEX YOU THINK UR ANDY WARHOL BUT UR NOT!! <3
55

Yes, Deadpool, dubstep is still a thing.

I'm not going to pretend that I'm a massive Dubstep fan, but to give Skrillex credit where credit is due, he did a very solid job. His synth work was immaculate, and the Quandale Dingle voice made me laugh a couple of times as well.

My biggest issue lied with the song length. There are 34 tracks on this, and it's hard to truly digest each track when they average a minute in length while consistently transition between each other. While ... read more

Car Seat Headrest - CCF (I'm Gonna Stay With You)
100

My 100th review, and I'm making sure not to waste it. Mark my words, this will be the greatest album of all time!!!!

Quadeca - GODSTAINED
100

When I'm in the GOAT conversation and my opponent is Quadeca

This man is a modern prodigy. No one can do it like Quad did

Benson Boone - Sorry I'm Here For Someone Else
75

Ngl, this is a solid improvement from his previous work. Nice job, Benson

Car Seat Headrest - How To Leave Town
85

Car Seat Headrest is the only band that can get away with releasing an EP that contains a track longer than the standard EP.

Jokes aside, it's review time.

Car Seat Headrest is arguably one of the most innovative bands of the 20th century. Twin Fantasy is an album that I originally rated a 95, but has quickly become one of my favorite albums of all time. They're also responsible for works such as Nervous Young Man and Teens In Denial(both of which I plan on reviewing in the near ... read more

Tyler, The Creator - Flower Boy
85

Flower Boy is an amazing album, filled with some of the most impactful synth-rap you could ever ask for. The lyricism and vibe of the album is on point throughout the entire project. I would highly recommend if you've ever listened to Tyler's discography in the past and liked what you heard.

Alex Warren - Carry You Home
70

It’s nothing crazy, but I’d be lying if I said that I didn’t fw with it

Mac Miller - Balloonerism
80

Mac Miller delivers an incredible posthumous album with Balloonerism. Usually, posthumous albums tend to flop, mostly because the artist in question didn't get a chance to fully finish the album before it released, leading to a lot of intervention that doesn't exactly align with the artist's original vision. That being said, this album manages to deliver. Rest In Peace, Mac. Your legacy will last for generations to come.

HalaCG - We Three Priests
100

Okay. You know the drill

Car Seat Headrest - Gethsemane

A new Car Seat Headrest song in the big 2025 is incredible. Thank you for once again blessing my ears boys!

HalaCG - Play God

"@ThePS5Guy thank you! They definitely helped me out a lot, especially when I was first starting out. I will say that the producers (Hala and Shiro) are pretty chill. They both have much larger solo discographies, though their music is definitely not for everyone"
On Ironmouse - Cry For Me (WA WA WA)
"@ThePS5Guy neither. I know the producers personally. They helped me out with some of my music, so I did this as a way to support them. Truthfully, I haven’t listened to this song since it came out over a year ago, so I sort of just forgot about it."
On Juicy J - Live and in Color
"@Bigballsmam That's fair. I didn't realize that before going into the project. I do wish he had a larger role lyrically, but I do think he did a solid job producing"

"Was at the listening party, and safe to say that it was a 100/10. Absolute euphoria!!!!"
On Imagine Dragons - Smoke + Mirrors
"Smoke and Mirrors 25 -> 50. The beat drop before the chorus is a lot more tolerable in the re-listen now that I knew what to expect. It became a lot more tolerable after giving it a second chance. Friction 35 -> 50. This song also got more tolerable on a re-listen. I guess it's good I have this, SaM, and Gold a second chance, because I think that they're a lot better after I tried them again."
