Ngl, this was a crazy ahh show. I'm happy that the performance was put onto Spotify. From a setlist standpoint, I do wish that there was at least 1 TPAB song, but otherwise this is as good as it gets.
Really solid pop song from the GOATs. It kind of reminds me of a Dua Lipa song. Definitely goes hard on a repeat
Logic delivers the scrapped songs from Ultra 85, rounding them up into his first ever EP "Aquarius III". Personally, I understand why these songs were scrapped. None of the tracks can really hold a candle to the quality that was exhibited on that album. That being said, these tracks are all pretty solid. I would recommend giving it a listen. It's only 15 minutes, and most of the tracks are under 3 minutes in length, so they make for some solid Spotify filler.
Merry Christmas, Everyone!! I hope you all have a wonderful one!
I'm not one to really hate on Imagine Dragons. If anything, they can produce some enjoyable songs from time to time. However, I personally don't see the appeal of this one song specifically. Personally, I find that the group insists on this one a bit too much. I can at least respect the work that Ado put on it, as I find her inclusion to be an improvement, but I can't say there's much else I like. The chorus just serves as a really big momentum stopper in the song's ... read more
All roads lead back to this album, and it's clear to see why. Kendrick Lamar transcends the possibilities of music with his 2015 album, "To Pimp a Butterfly." He not only has incredible flow, but does so with immense passion. It makes sense why this is often considered the #1 album of all time. Kendrick demonstrates his masterful storytelling skills, while rapping over some of the most beautiful instrumentals I have ever heard. I would 100% recommend giving this album a listen ... read more
Congratulations on your Streamer Awards win and performance, Mouse. You deserved it!
You know, it would be really funny if My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy got dethroned as 2010's Album of the Year by the Super Mario Galaxy 2 Soundtrack
Kendrick Lamar releases a surprise drop album, GNX. Personally, I thought it was pretty good, even if it doesn't hold a candle to his previous works. That being said, there are some incredible tracks on this one. My personal favorites are luther, man at the garden, and reincarnated, all of which blend beautiful instrumentals with incredible lyrics.
My biggest complaints with this album come from the title track, gnx, squabble up, and peekaboo. I understand that squabble up has been ... read more
Linkin Park returns to the stage with From Zero. This is the first full release since the tragic suicide of former lead singer Chester Bennington(Rest In Peace). I have always been in the position that the band should've never been revived under the Linkin Park name. That's not to say that the band should never make music, but to continue without Chester is like if Nirvana continued without Curt Kobain. Regardless, we find ourselves seeing the band return after a 7 year break, so how ... read more
I haven’t seen Arcane yet, but this song might make me
In celebration of Charli hosting SNL, I thought it would be fun to listen to her most critically acclaimed album, brat. This album is her highest rated, garnering a 90% among critics and an 85% among fans, and to put it frankly, it's deserved.
If I had to describe this album in one word, it would be "trippy". A lot of the instrumentals tickle your brain in more ways than one, and I really like how the synths are incorporated throughout the album. I definitely wanted to get up ... read more
Hala does it once again! She is always bringing some incredible music, and this is no exception.
Really enjoyed this one. Mouse is an incredible vocalist, and I'm happy that she's starting to produce more songs that are in her range.
Quadeca delivers an incredible project with SCRAPYARD. It's clear that this man has had a lot passion poured in to these 15 tracks. This entire album is filled with so much ear candy that you become entranced in the music. U TRIED THAT THING WHERE YOU WERE HUMAN is probably one of the best songs to release this year. Overall, I highly recommend listening.
