I have been waiting for a full fledged dev album since her EP - Delusional (Which is in my opinion one of the best EPs out there)

And after a considerable amount of songs (4 singles + 1 EP) we finally got SURFACE TENSION...

Now... about the album.

It's really good don't get me wrong, but I was expecting even more from Dev.

But I am NOT DISSAPOINTED, IT'S A GREAT DEBUT ALBUM !!!!!!!!!

Got to know about Guard Petal from their single with Crywank "Don't Listen to This Song"

Let me tell you something... This LP is kinda giving 2018-2020 moody bedroom-pop with the likes of Chloe Moriondo, Cavetown, dodie, Orla Gartland, and more...

It's a cute esoteric project and honestly a great starting LP for them :)

Then I had a pause from like 2020-2024 until I saw that this album came out...

And I'm glad I noticed cause this is actually a really good album !
