What's great about Rihanna is that she is a blank canvas to paint on. She’s great at embodying moods and personas in her music, and she definitely channeled it here into something mature but still evidently Rihanna. It also helps majorly that this album takes a more artistic direction thanks to the producers and songwriters she enlisted to create this project.
