The album name just speaks for itself.
First Lucki album i've listened to, apparently i made a really good choice. The instrumental is just wild, especially on the outro track. I will admit, i don't really listen to this slow style of rapping, but i think it's a great change of pace, altough it can kind of blend in with itself at times. Overall a great project, might listen to more Lucki albums in the near future.

ILDMLFY but with some extra fat, can't expect a whole new album from a deluxe (unless its SZA). The songs released in this project do a successful job at expanding the original, but it's understandable why they were cut.
Favorites: Jordan Rules, I Lay Down My Life For You, Boy You Should Know!, ALLAH, Bloodline Freestyle, TAKE AN (Instrumental)

WE BE CHILLIN PLAYIN SAINTS ROW 3 π£οΈπ£οΈπ₯π₯π₯ (Black Kray Mixtape Dive 1/24)
This is the boldest and grittiest album i've listened to so far, Black Kray created a completely unique sound based off of cloud rap and trap. Every song on this project feels unique, with some of the best production i heard in my entire life, ESPECIALLY in Hydr6c0don$, that song bleeds through your headphones and warps itself right into your brain. Altough the lyrics might not be the most ... read more

Balloonerism is Mac Miller's second posthumous album, originally worked on in 2013 and 2014. It uses a mix of subtle basslines, atmospheric piano chords, and loud drums which, combined with Mac's smooth voice, creates a harmonious arrangement that feels just like a daydream.
I will say that with full honesty that this album destroyed me. To hear a talented young artist talk about his life long battle with drugs and existentialist thoughts ... read more
The beginning of lofi hip-hop, and by god was this album good. The entire project has this feeling of luxury, as if youre on the balcony, feelig a breeze of fresh air hit your face as you reflect on how far you came. The production on every song is masterful, and every feature does their part incredibly well, wether its the positivity coming from Cise Starr and Akin, the words of freedom from Terry Callier, the wishful thinking from Shing02, or anyone else in these songs. This album touches on ... read more

GODHAND VOLUME 1 is GODHAND USA's debut project, with the duo consisting of Lil Darkie and Bruhmanegod. It combines the sound of memphis rap and some cloud rap to make a fun and upbeat listening experience, altough it can come off as repetitive at some points.
Listening to the songs on this album, you can tell the duo just had fun making it. The sound here characterized by compressed and pitched vocals and a 90's hip-hop ... read more

Veteran is JPEGMAFIA's second release, coming after Black Ben Carson. It's a fantastic record that cemented Peggy's unique sound and is now considered an essential experimental album. The entire project features other Baltimore rappers such as Freaky and Yung Midpack, with the song Libtard Anthem not even including vocals from Peggy himself.
I'll start off by saying that this album is definitely not for everyone, containing some of ... read more
The absolute most batshit insane album i've ever listened to.
CHASER is Femtanyl's first EP under this alias, formerly going under LilyNiku and draft.__. This project shows an innovative and never-before-seen mix between genres like hardcore, metal, and jungle. It also touches on themes such as transgenderism, self-harm, suicide, and their fetishization.
Listening to this EP immediately after going through Lahai gave me probably the biggest whiplash of my entire life. This project ... read more

Lahai is Sampha's second studio album, following Process. This project is extremely melodic and slow, serving as a reflection of oneself, connections with other people, parenthood, faith, and uncertain times in one's life.
Let me get to the point, this album fucks. Hard. Even some of the more lacking songs on here are great, just highlighting Sampha's artistry and beatiful melodies. Even though ... read more
Well, that was something i guess?
Let me cut to the chase, this album is disappointing. Definitely the weakest in Kendrick's entire discography, and it feels to me like it was pushed out to capitalize on the beef. Sure, there are some good songs, mainly heart pt. 6, but the rest of the album just feels like it's missing something.
Also, what are the features on this album? SZA did an amazing job in the songs she was in, but who are Sam Dew and AzChike? Maybe Kendrick's trying ... read more
FREDDIE!!! DROP MONTANA AND MY LIFE IS YOURS!!!
You Only Die 1nce is nothing shot of a great album. each song creates a stark contrast between the calm, jazzy beats and Freddie's harsh lyrics and flow. As a gangsta rap album, it touches on the themes of prostitution, gang violence, and dead peers, and it achieves all this without a single feature.
As i already said, the instrumental for every song is a very calming cloud rap beat, and Freddie's flow complements that style very well ... read more

Chromakopia is an album that mixes the sounds of soul and hip hop into Tyler, the Creator's landmark sound. With features from Doechii, Glorilla, ScHoolboy Q, and other big names as background vocalists, this album manages to reinvent the identity TYler has given himself with his music yet again, being much more sensitive with the topics it discusses, like unexpected pregnancies, fear of being judged, Tyler's absent father, and a lot ... read more

1000 gecs is the first studio album made by 100 Gecs, originally made for the Coalchella event. This project grabs ideas from many different genres and blends them together in what i can only describe as a frankenstein's monster of electronic music.
I'll say it now, this album is weird. But a good kind of weird, as in something you can't really find anywhere else. All of the ... read more

Die Lit is Cart's first album, coming after his self-titled mixtape. It's an experimental project with underground and punk influences. Every song follows a set structure and is mainly focused on casual listening.
This LP can feel fairly repetitive at some points, considering it's pop-rap structure, but the sound this album is known for really makes up for it. It's a fairly long project, clocking in at almost an hour in length, which doesn't ... read more
This self-title is gorillaz' first project, being a mostly rock-centered album with a few hip-hop and punk inspired tracks. This project served as a good starting point for the band and shaped what later became their landmark sound.
This album isn't very consistent in it's general atmosphere in the way Demon Days and Plastic Beach are, with songs ranging from cluttered and energetic (Punk) to slow and atmospheric (Double Bass). One thing every song has in common, though, is ... read more

Atrocity Exhibition is a heavily experimental album with very unusual production and unorthodox sampling, with a stacked feature list including Kendrick Lamar, Earl Sweatshirt and Ab-Soul all in the same track.
The delivery on this album's songs can range from low-key and vulnerable (Rolling Stone) to incredibly direct (Ain't it Funny), with the lyrics all sharing Danny's past with drug addictions, hookers, committing crimes for a living, and ... read more
PEGGY CAN SHRED HOLY SHIT
ILDMLFY takes a heavy influence from heavy metal and some songs include traits from brazilian funk (its dark and hell is hot), jazz (JPEGULTRA!) and choir (Don't Put Anything On the Bible) with collaborations from Vince Staples, Denzel Curry, Buzzy Lee and Freaky. In fashion with the rest of Peggy's albums, this one uses a lot of sampling as the backbone in basically every song from various different sources.
This album has many different changes in what ... read more
An extremely unique album from JVB that mixes elements of hip-hop, rock, and breakbeat into one very enjoyable project. Joey and Brae complement eachother perfectly and every beat, although they may sound alike, match their energy to a tee. Every song here is a hit, but the lyricism feels a bit lacking in some songs.
Favorite songs: HOOLIGANG, DANCE NOW, STARTAFIGHT
Least favorites: STREET PIZZA
A very experimental record from Vince that shows no fear in being different, with Vince himself stating it's modern art.
The album varies in song quality quite a lot, with some tracks simply being better than others on all fronts, but the songs that turn out well are extremely enjoyable.
Favorite songs: Crabs in a Bucket, Yeah Right, Homage, BagBak
Least favorites: Rain Come Down, 745
"Jay Z's bullshit, Kanye's bullshit, Eminem is cool... uhhh... bullshit!"
Outside of the VERY edgy lyrics, this is a really enjoyable record! It manages to make every track sound extremely different from one another while still tying it together as a full album. It's very noticable that this is Peggy making the music, and thats a good thing.
Outside of this, there's not much else to say. It's a very memorable record that has it's own sound.
