This is fucking horrible LMAO. First and foremost the mix is unbearably bad on every song, you can barely hear Toxi’s vocals, and when they are audible she’s constantly clipping in and out, and her voice is waterlogged underneath every beat bc of how bad it is. It literally feels like her voice and the beats are fighting for prominence in every track, with her voice always being the loser. Coming out of his very brief (and repetitive) shell of 2 track indietronica eps, Kai delivers a much needed change of pace. We open with an instrumental intro that’s reminiscent of his previous work but with a darker edge to it, until it breaks into a noisy and static filled beat which him and the feature deliver abstract and somber lines that really help set the scene for the song. It’s that fog of war

Unfortunately Kai stumbles over himself slightly, he takes the droned production to an incompatible level, it gets boring and overlapping ideas make it hard to sit through completely.

With droned out production, melancholic distant vocals, and at moments even catchy lyrics; Kai gives us a glimpse into his issues with self realization and isolation in a short but well managed ep.

There are some interesting production choices here and there, and some ok features but all in all this is not good. I absolutely despise how frailly Scarlets voice shambles over each beat. This album is like a failed pottery lesson.

This is awful. Everything from the Ed Sheeran cord progressions to the whiny singing to even the meaningless random lyricism. This is painfully basic masked with a very unfortunate aesthetic.

Yeah this sucks. Nothing about this is interesting, this is just nothing music, this whole album is just Steve whining. I listened to this on youtube instead of spotify, and when ads started playing literally nothing in the atmosphere changed even slightly, this doesn't even have the benefit of being painfully mid or cringey, it's just nothing music. And endlessly enthralling and interesting commentary on humanity, possibly the best and most unique commentary on any album ever. Most commentary falls on the line of either too moderate or too bitter and hatefilled to actually provide introspection. Father John Misty has presented the best possible approach, crossing the aforementioned line to paint a calm and narrative portrait mocking the human condition for truly being a pure comedy.

While not as engaging as Jarom Az Utam, this is still an impressive and rhythmic album, however with a slower and much more intimate pacing.

Gorgeous Scottish Gaelic album, I think it might be one of the best examples of the language being used in music. And as a Scottish person that's really personal to the enjoyment and I really appreciate.
