With his album "heavy metal", Cameron Winter proves that he is capable of making great music, even without Geese supporting him. His vocal performances on this album are absolutely brilliant, as he shows his amazing vocal range in almost every song. My favorite song on this one is "Nausicaa (Love Will Be Revealed)".
My favorite velvet underground album, listening to this feels like a cozy blanket on a cold day. The track "Murder mystery" doesn't quite fit in in my opinion, but it's still a great album.
One of their more underrated albums, the dancy style of this album is really outstanding to me. On tracks like "Inbetween Days" they manage to combine their goth style with a dancy groove, which is really impressive to me. Of course this album also has some flaws, like the track "Screw". Overall it's pretty enjoyable though.
Their best work by far, each song is just perfect (except maybe vicar in a tutu). Johnny Marr is just so talented.
