Had few nothing burgers, but by the end of the record they were rapid firing these bangers. The production and rapping are great and the creativity shines.
The funny part about this album is that the songs aren't really memorable, but they're still good songs. Beatles had this infinite money clitch. They cook up a fun little 2 minute summer jam with the song title being repeated through the entire song. Repeat that ten times and there you go: a masterpiece. I think they have better records, but its impossible to hate this, every song is a banger.
Wow. Coming to this record I was expecting something like their hit song, Where Is Your Mind?, and I was proven wrong. Not only does this record give these surreal and almost dreamy songs, but also these good summer vibe songs like Here Comes Your Man. I was totally blown away by this record. Might have to do a deep dive to these dudes catalog. Monkeys Gone To Heaven was my absolute favourite.
I don't don't like this because it robbed the Grammy from Kendrick (i mean this is called The Heist for a reason ig), but because theres just so many bad songs. Obviously this has the highs, but it also has the lows.
