an album that does nostalgia but doesn't feel tacky how wonderful... one of the best sophisti-pop listens i've had because of her beautiful voice and the no-nonsense production... fabiana release more music mama
half of this is decent and the other half is snoozefest mid pop songs, and none of the songs have lyrics that speak to the concept and themes of wuthering heights in the slightest. the lyricists, barring john cale, went for safety and simplicity, which does no justice to emily bronte. i have not seen the film yet and do not plan on it anytime soon, but i have an itch this soundtrack suits it well, and i mean that as an insult
