feeble little horse remains my favorite pittsburgh band
feels like a continuation of girl with fish, but it just fails to wow me in the same way their previous album did. it’s still amazing to say the least!
I’ve already came to the conclusion that I just have to separate the art from the artist with Fakemink so I can enjoy it, but I can’t even enjoy this album.
I’m no og fan, but i’ve been following him for a bit and this album was definitely a let down. I don’t know what I was expecting after his last EP but it wasn’t this (even though it sounds pretty similar, i was way too hopeful for a switch up).
Most of these songs are semi-unlistenable because of the ... read more
can she donate her brain to science when she dies cause how does one pump out so many AOTYs.
i think the best part about listening to these songs as they come out monthly is seeing the progression. if you compare the first to last song released, it’s so clear how much better she’s gotten at her craft. i also think the idea of releasing music about life as you live it is so interesting to see as a listener. truly an album of all time.
blown away by this and can’t stop listening. i haven’t been huge into glaive for a while and this is my first impression of kurtains and i love it! super underrated imo
i’ll give her credit for producing her own beats and going in a different direction than her dad, but some of these songs are just bad. the sampling just feels basic for the most part, and the lyrics are obviously not that deep because it’s coming from a 12 year oldπ it isn’t absolute shit though!!!
really didn’t stick out to me, but i also feel like any music they make now just doesn’t compare to their debut at all. it also doesn’t help that i really don’t like the singers voice now and there are some corny ass lines in here. “As my ex-wife.. She met Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hide” makes me cringe every time. big fan of the song with wisp and i like most of the instrumentals, but again the vocals and lyrics ruin it for me
Album sounds exactly like the title. very experimental there is nothing like this out there
It’s so insane to me that this is almost 20 higher than museum musicπ
this is what was missing from wishbone.
i feel like he’s really maturing in his song structure with these. a few of the songs on wishbone felt childish(?) almost like i could’ve pulled them out of his first or second album and just changed the production a little bit (yes im talking about class clown specifically) but these songs feel so fresh and new for him. i don’t think there’s really a miss here, but some songs just aren’t as strong as others. the best and ... read more
feels repetitive and one note, but still very good. i just wish there were more stand out tracks like New Dawn and Vega. tbh i liked their older stuff a little more than this
best animated movie ever maybe best soundtrack ever
