i should really listen to the rest of this.. the samples and production on this are just ear candy. i also like the use of the shorter in between songs and long titles. this really stands out from anything ive listened to so far this year!
honestly only one miss (limewire). lyrically it’s pretty basic on some songs but the production is just INSANE, definitely worth listening to
i was hoping this would be my first 8/10 or higher for this year but noπ i LOVEEE sever the blight, w-w-w-w-w, and the beginning of the end, but the second half (although good) failed to captivate me in the same way the first half did. the production is there, but not the magic that i got out of the songs i listed. still a solid record, but i jus expected moreπ
it was enjoyable but i feel like this being for a score kind of hindered some of the creativity i’ve seen on her past records. was definitely expecting more but it still has its moments (chains of love, house, and funny mouth)
half of these songs feel like unfinished ideas. harajuku is the best song only cause the kuru mention
i see how this can be a 9 or a 10 for some people but it just failed to captivate me at certain points. it has very experimental production (which i like) but sometimes it didn’t really land. pretty good though.. and i dance is awesome
I mean it’s alrightttt .. fml and Mr chow are prob the best songs on here. kinda disappointed with this, but it’s not that bad
some very good songs on here (especially dearly missed) but the rest just sounds a bit too similar and feels like it goes nowhere :/
I really like the vibe of this EP, i really like The Wahs. i’m very excited to see what they do next!
