For some reason everytime I search up for the definition of vibe, this comes up
You know those really special songs were no matter how many times youve listened to it or when you listen to it, it always manages to amaze you. Do you Think Im Pretty? Is that song. It never fails to give me goosebumps and cry. This album is great but that song is something else.
This is actually alright. Its definetly an improvement over the first one. Whether its on purpose or not, Id say the album has 3 distinctive parts to it. The first 3 tracks are kind of like crack cocaine (which was one of the parts I liked about that one), the next 3 tracks are weirdly reminiscent of the swans and the final 3 are like Pink Floyd. It starts off good with the first song, which has a nice melody. The vocals are a very welcomed improvement. The singer on the first one was sounded ... read more
I wanted so badly for this album to be wrongly rated in the yellow ratings. But i came out realising that its sadly true. There are some great songs here, like Loser and no reply, but the "club" songs are so dam boring. Whoever finds listening to a bassey beat for 5 minutes interesting your gonna love this album as you will enjoy those songs. However, people who dont are guarenteed to die from boredom
Still cant get over how bad that album cover photoshop is. I mean I have never touched it and could do better than whatever the hell that is
Whilst she could of easily of gotten away with making an album full of laid back simple pop songs after the success of Messy, Lola Young decided instead to come out with a fantastic Rock album that defied all my expectations.
Is that multiple guitar solos in a mainstream pop artists album in 2025?
I'm here to say before this album eventually becomes known as some mediocre pop album that it is not some mediocre pop album.
I know they said this was made for fun, but thats not going to stop me. Well for starters Crack Cocaine is a decent opener that I can jam to. Although it is pretty different to the rest of the album. The 2nd song has a nice melody that could work in a shorter song and a good buildup. However I feel it didn't have it. This was way to long. It was doing the same melody for 10 minutes total for the whole song. It eventually got old. And It felt like it was going to at least lead to a great ... read more
Every song does something different. Yet it still works
The only problem is it does drag at times but it's worth it
Virgins: Only starting to listen to the og version now because Taylor bought it back
Chads: Always listened to this version because it's better, like me, meaning it's probably also virgins who do this as well
Flaming Lips really thought they could drop an underated concept album and just slide on by
This is one of the best Green Day albums and you just have to live with that fact
So much better from the repetitive and boring 1st Ep. Instrumentation is better. Intro 2 i wouldn't listen to by itself but is a decent starter. Short song is by far the best one yet without a doubt. Long song is also nice but may overstay its welcome for a bit to long
