"Fucking around and finding out" the album
I guess Jpeg's prime is over. Nonetheless, this album isn't completely empty of greatness. But there's also the mediocre and boring side. Sometimes the experimenting works, sometimes not so much so I'd say that the title of the album describes the sound here very well.

But it's just as bad as Habibti. My final hopes are on Iceman.
This is the end of my "only listening to 9/10 and 10/10 albums" era. Next thing I'm going to listen to is Peggy and Drake on friday.
Sankofa is another super impressive jazz rap album. The only thing holding redveil back from dropping a 10/10 is the familiar sound in his songs. All of this here is amazing but the one click that's needed for something truly great is redveil finding his own unique sound.
