Some songs have genuinely awful vocals, but the instrumental are INCREDIBLE in literally all the songs. Interstate 8 is super overrated, the vocals on the hook are unbearable. I don't got much more to say, other than the songwriting on Baby Blue Sedan is the best on the whole album.
Best songs: Never Ending Math Equation, Broke, Medication, Workin on Leavin the Livin, Baby Blue Sedan, Whenever You Breathe Out, I Breathe In (Positive Negative), Other People's ... read more

We need someone like these two in Serbia ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
This album is super tough, political and filled with some of the best rapping in Conscious Rap. I don't really agree with their religious views at all, but that doesn't deduct from my score. But, I did really enjoy the mix of song ideas on this album, like the ode to health and basically the retelling of Animal Farm.

Pretty great album, but I would say a tad tad bit inconsistent. It drops off near the end and comes back with Thelonious, but its still a pretty great album. Fall In Love is one of the greatest hip-hop songs. Didn't even recognize J Dilla until Climax.
best songs: Climax, Hold Tight, Tell Me, What It's All About, Fall in Love, Get Dis Money, Players and Thelonious
worst song: Jealousy

This album has a ton of very cool narratives and some very very quality highs. The intro is easily one of the greatest songs I've heard in a long time. Crystal Lake is something I imagine I'd be listening to if I was a teenager during this time. Jed the Humanoid's story is so creative — it's about a robot that replicates humans so well that when his creators start paying less attention to him, he drinks himself to death, I see it more as a critique on ... read more

Possibly the weirdest album I've ever listened to... or relistened to. It absolutely lives up to its ''Abstract'' title. Madlib and Quasimoto rapping back and forth is so cool considering, yk, they are the same person. It both sounds like its from the year 2000 but also from like 3000 or something. Basically, super ahead of its time creatively, even now.

What did I just listen to... Absolutely brutal stuff
Best songs: all of them (favorites: Zegen vs Undercover, Urban Guitar Sayonara, Tattoo and U-Rei)
Worst song: Sasu-You

Big L is one of the greatest to ever do it. This album has a lot of flaws, but the highs are very good. Some very weird beats and A LOT of sexual lyrics. RIP
Best songs: Deadly Combination, The Enemy, Fall Back, Platinum Plus
Worst song: Games

This album has a huge problem that make me not able to rate it as highly as I rate the tracklist. As an album, I sort of enjoyed it. There are a number of duds, but most of the songs are pretty average and above average. I should mention that average for me is 7-7.5 and above average is 8 and above.
But here is the huge problem. It is very empty. The instrumentals aren't crazy enough to be by themselves. I like them, don't get me wrong, it's just that they ... read more

Johnny Cash is a great country artist. This is very solid, though it gets inconsistent after The Mercy Seat, which is the best song here.
Best songs: I Won't Back Down, Solitary Man, One, I See a Darkness, The Mercy Seat, Wayfaring Stranger
Worst song: I'm Leavin' Now
Year 2000 (2/12)
This is a relisten. This album is so much better than I remember it being. The vocals are INSANE on this, instruments go hard asl and it's just so energetic and angry. Really good Post-Hardcore, but I also really enjoy Invalid Litter Dept. which sounds more emo than anything on here.
Favorite songs: Arcarsenal, Pattern Against User, One Armed Scissor, Invalid Litter Dept., Enfilade, Rolodex Propaganda, Cosmonaut and Non-Zero Possiblity
Worst song (if I had to pick): ... read more
I made a topster of 120 albums from the 2000s and I'm gonna attempt to listen to all of them. 100 new ones and 20 I have to relisten to. I did this once a long time ago with 10x10 but this time I'm doing 12x12 because I've been in a listening stump for a while. https://ibb.co/q3kfcq3X

Very chill, kind of comforting and poetic album. The instrumentation is some of the best in Indie Rock.

I definitely will not be going back to the R>O>T version, I think its more of something you experience once and never find anything like it again. It's like reading from a 1st century stone or something. I saw on a youtube comment that it sounds like the music is fighting to not be forgotten, which is really a great explanation of it. I absolutely loved this and I love this band a lot.
@Mozart damn bruh they stole your whole flow 😂😂😂😂😂
My introduction to Bad Bunny actually
I would LOVE to hang out with him, he seems so lovely and fun. Also love how he mentions all the countries of the two Americas. Beautiful performance!
